10/10, one of the nicest experiences we had in Da Nang. The atmosphere was very cozy, the workshop was fun and delicious, and the girl who runs it is absolutely wonderful. She not only shows you how to make different kinds of Vietnamese coffee, but also shares the history of Vietnam, its coffee culture, and the details behind each recipe. My wife and I chose the 5-coffee workshop, and it was amazing. It was just for the two of us, so everything felt very warm, friendly, and fun. We made 5 different Vietnamese coffees, had lots of great conversation, and truly enjoyed every minute of it. What made it even better was that it was not just a fun class, but actually very useful. Now I understand the difference between Robusta and Arabica, and I also understand why one cold brew from a café in Da Nang often does not feel like enough, while a medium-dark roast or dark roast espresso can keep me energized for the whole day. Now I know how to make salt coffee, egg coffee, coconut coffee, and classic Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I highly recommend this place to everyone — definitely come here, you will not regret it.
After attending the coffee class, I found it to be a very beneficial course. The instructors were enthusiastic, explained things clearly, and provided many opportunities for students to practice. The course content was structured from basic to advanced, helping me better understand different types of coffee, brewing techniques, and customer service. The class atmosphere was friendly, and the equipment was complete. The course helped me improve my brewing skills and gain confidence when working in a coffee shop environment.
The coffee was delicious. The teacher was beautiful and kind.
Adults learn how to make delicious Vietnamese coffee, including vegan coffee options, while kids can learn to make tasty cacao drinks. Fun, hands-on, and definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!
Home based workshop on coffee making, makes 5 types of Viet coffee 👍👍 English speaking and very clear directions from the instructor. Theory + practical
Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. You will learn so much and also have a great time. Highly recommend to anyone!
Not only did I get to make the drinks myself, but I also learned more about each type of coffee, how to enjoy them, and the stories behind each cup. The atmosphere was friendly, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for beginners. Definitely worth trying if you love coffee or want a unique experience. Highly recommend! 💛
I had a chance to visit Da Nang with my boss (he came from China). I found this coffee workshop through my friend. And my boss was a big fan of Viet Nam coffee. He said that making coffee at Sunny was a incredible experience. The coffee was so nice and the teacher was very enthusiastic. Highly rcm to try!!!
The coffee was good and the teacher teaching us is amazing plus she allows to put ice stir the coffee and blend the coffee.
When I first visited Vietnam I fell in love with the infamous Vietnamese coffee. Now that I’ve participated in this coffee class it’s like I got to experience it on a whole new level. Not just is the vibe super relaxed, friendly and fun but I finally know how to make the best tasting coffee at home. I also learned more about different kinds of coffee and why it tastes so good. This is a definite recommendation I’m also passing on to my friends and family. P.S. If you value your sleep I recommend booking one of the earlier time slots ✌️
Sunny Vietnamese Coffee Workshop is a local experience in Da Nang dedicated to sharing the authentic culture and stories of Vietnamese coffee with travelers from around the world. Our journey began through years of hosting international guests. As visitors became increasingly curious about Vietnamese coffee, we were inspired to learn more about its origins, farming traditions, brewing methods, and cultural significance. This passion led us to connect with local coffee communities and explore the journey of coffee from farm to cup. Today, we offer hands-on workshops where guests can discover the history of Vietnamese coffee, taste different varieties, and create traditional drinks such as Phin Coffee and Egg Coffee. Combining storytelling, practical learning, and cultural exchange, our experiences provide a deeper understanding of one of Vietnam’s most beloved traditions. We believe coffee is more than a beverage - it is a bridge that connects people, culture, and local communities through meaningful experiences.
