Villa Coco Cooking Classes

The cooking class was fantastic experience from start to finish! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, engaging, and knowledgeable, making the entire session fun and relaxed. The hands-on activities were well-paced and interactive, keeping everyone involved regardless of their skill level. As for the food—everything we made was absolutely delicious, packed with incredible flavors. It was the perfect blend of learning and great eating. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a memorable and tasty experience!

Our master teachers were amazing. They explained all of the herbs and spices that we used and how they bring out the flavours in your cooking. The entire experience was interactive and lots of fun . This is the second time I have done this class and will be back when I next visit.

A fast paced, highly organised and high level of participation experience. Easy to understand instructions and a delicious outcome. The take home recipe book and apron were a wonderful addition to an already lovely Balinese experience. Highly recommend.

Didn’t drag on - we love bite sized activities and this was around 3 hours all up. Great selection of dishes, informative & loved the extra bit of knowledge about the Balinese culture. Held in the beautiful grounds of Villa Coco - we are telling all of our friends! Fun date night idea

It was a small group which was brilliant. The guys that taught us to cook each meal were funny, entertaining and helpful. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails during happy hour, and made some really tasty and healthy meals. Walking away with the recipe book and the apron was lovely.

We had so much fun at our class at Villa Coco, Seminyak. There was only the two of us in our class, It was so much more hands on than we thought, we made all our favourite Balinese’s dishes and they were so much easier than we thought. We had a great time

Held poolside, this was a great way to spend the morning. A lot was packed into the 2.5 hours, part cooking class and part demonstration, which meant we could experience elements of lots of different dishes. Our hosts were lovely making the whole experience fun and delicious!

From start to finish this was professional, fun, organised and informative. Our hosts made this an extremely enjoyable experience. The outdoor kitchen was perfect and the food delicious. Being able to purchase a glass of wine was an added bonus. I could not recommend this class enough. If you are looking at doing a short cooking class, look no further and book in today!

The cooking class was in a nice quiet location, food was delicious and the chefs were fun and helpful. We have a receipe book to take home and apron. A very enjoyable class

This cooking class was great. Fresh ingredients, great recipes, friendly hosts and the location was easy to find within Seminyak. We wanted a cooking class that wasn’t too long, 2.5hours is plenty in the heat. There was a group of us, we cooked as team and took turns, so if you wanted to just watch, you could. I got stuck in because I love cooking and of course they encourage that. However if you want to individually cook all the recipes start to finish yourself, I would do a longer and more in-depth cooking class. At the end of the class, you receive a booklet on the ingredients and all the recipes, which is handy. They also include the apron. I would definitely recommend this short and sweet cooking class.

The people were well organised and it's was beautifully set out . Great meals to make . I felt like we weren't involved enough during the process . We didn't even see how the dessert and sauce was made. Other than that I enjoyed out experience. It was over too quick . Thank you

I went with my family to this cooking class and it was a brilliant experience. The instructors were very knowledgable and friendly. Would highly recommend this class.

We expected to each be able to create our own dish, but it felt more like we were helping the chefs. In the end, we didn't learn much because the cooking instructor did most of the cooking himself. The food was delicious, though.

The chefs that took the class were amazing. So friendly and helpful.

We loved chopping up the spices … chillies. Garlic ginger and using the mortar & pestle to grind them into a paste Group participation was good .. there was plenty of good food to eat and some took some back to their hotels to share with loved ones

It was very fun, but we didn't do much cooking. We chopped a couple of onions and that was about it, the rest was all done for us. Fun but would have liked to learn more.

Fantastic cooking class

Had a great time at our cooking class. The chef’s running the class were fun and engaging. We made some delicious dishes that we sat down to eat for lunch. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed it. I will say it was more a cooking experience than a full on class but the teachers were really friendly, informative and you definitely got hands on. Delicious food and cooked more than our group could eat. Great experience.

It was a great experience, with only 2 of us in the class it was very hands on and informative. We were able to fast along the way and ask as many questions as we liked.

My fiancé is a chef and loves to do cooking classes when we travel to immerse himself in the traditional food experience. I booked this as a surprise as we are in Bali for our anniversary, the class was amazing, the location was beautiful, staff was friendly and accommodating! I honestly can not recommend it enough! You even get an apron and a cookbook to take home as souvenirs of your experience!! So happy!!

What a great class! We had lovely chefs and a great group of people involved in the cooking class. All of the chefs were clear with instructions and got you interacting and taking the lead in different parts of the preparation and cooking process.

Entertaining and well-paced class of tasty and flavourful local dishes and ingredients. The three instructors worked together smoothly as a tag team and answered all my questions.

Enjoyed the class with my wife. The presenters were great and lovely people as well. Getting to eat what had helped prepare was a highlight and the best meal we’ve had this trip.

This class was excellent value and lots of fun! My sister and I learned about the local ingredients before assisting to cook 5 dishes. There were 3 professional Balinese chefs to teach us and ensure we get it all done in time. The class energy was easygoing and light-hearted - you can be involved and learn no matter your skill level. We finished with plenty of food for our lunch and it all tasted great. You also leave with a recipe booklet and apron to remember the day. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking for an authentic Balinese cooking experience.

The class was very enjoyable, it was laid back but informative. The hosts had a great sense of humour, and shared lots of tips with us as we cooked. Everyone had a chance to cook certain things, while everyone worked on different dishes at one time. There were 5 students and 3 instructors so plenty of guidance along the way. It was a delicious feast at the end!

We had such a fun morning learning the art of Balinese cooking. Staff were very friendly, the class was hands on, and the food was amazing. I’d highly recommend this experience. We did it as a family and our two teens enjoyed it too.

Not as hands on as I had hoped. Food/spice preparation is done by everyone. But then only a few people actually get to cook a dish. But a fun class with a lot of dishes cooked.
