Une façon idéale de découvrir les habitants et la gastronomie de cette région. Teresa et sa famille nous ont accueillis chaleureusement tout en nous apprenant à cuisiner des plats absolument délicieux. Cette expérience a été tout simplement formidable. À faire absolument !
Nous avons été accueillis à bras ouverts. Nous avons commencé par cueillir des fruits et légumes dans leur jardin, puis nous avons mis la main à la pâte en cuisine. C'était une véritable immersion dans la cuisine italienne (bien plus qu'un simple cours) et nous avons déjeuné comme des amis ensuite. Un grand merci à Teresa, Gerardo et Alessandro de nous avoir ouvert leur maison et de nous avoir permis de partager un moment avec eux.
Ce fut l'un des plus beaux moments de nos vacances italiennes. La ferme regorge d'histoires et de fruits et légumes délicieux. Teresa et sa famille sont charmantes et accueillantes ; nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Si vous recherchez le luxe, ce n'est pas l'endroit idéal. En revanche, si vous recherchez une expérience authentique et, surtout, si vous partagez le plaisir de la cuisine familiale, alors c'est l'endroit parfait. Mes enfants de 8 ans ont adoré. Un souvenir précieux qui restera gravé dans nos cœurs.
Ma femme et moi avons passé une journée absolument merveilleuse avec Teresa et Gerardo dans leur ferme de Bénévent, La Tana del Riccio, qui signifie « La Tanière du Hérisson ». Si vous y allez, demandez-leur de vous raconter l'histoire amusante qui se cache derrière ce nom ! Teresa nous a guidés à travers le jardin et le poulailler pour ramasser des œufs et des légumes avec lesquels nous avons préparé un véritable festin. Au cours de la journée, nous avons préparé des Montanarine Fritte, une entrée simple mais délicieuse à base de pâte à pizza frite et de tomates, des lasagnes aux courgettes et aux fleurs de courgettes, un tajine de filet de porc et une crostata aux prunes. Nous avons fait les pâtes et cuisiné aux côtés de Teresa, qui nous a prodigué ses précieux conseils et son expertise en matière de cuisine italienne authentique. À la fin du repas, nous étions repus, mais cela en valait vraiment la peine ! Ce fut une expérience formidable, et si vous prévoyez un voyage dans la région de Naples, je vous la recommande vivement.
We were treated like family. The hosts were excellent and we had great food as well as conversation. I would highly recommend the class to people who would want an exceptional local experience.
We’ve had such wonderful afternoon and an authentic experience at La Tana del Riccio. Teresa and her family were very welcoming and great hosts to us…. It was just the two of us and they still made such an effort to show us the farm and how to make several dishes which were all very delicious! Having these for dinner with Teresa and Gerardo and tasting some wine from the neighbors made the evening perfect for us! We would definitely recommend this course to all that want to learn about the food and the people from Campania.. away from all mainstream!
My husband and I were looking to get an authentic Italian cooking cuisine and Teresa’s class was jut it and even more! The cooking class take place in Teresa and her husband lovely farm house, they gave us a tour in the house and their surrounding and it was just beautiful to see all the animals. We made cheese from freshly milked milk and it was an amazing experience. The food was excellent with all fresh ingredients. We talked with Teresa and her husband for hours and really felt that they opened their home and heart for us. Would highly recommend!
Teresa is clearly a passionate and excellent cook! Her unique lasagne was absolutely delicious, the pork dish sublime and everything else was awesome. We had a lovely lunch and a really great and interesting time. I am certainly going to try and recreate the lasagne!!!!! Incredible!
I attended an authentic Italian cooking class here with Teresa and her family. It was the perfect day! We picked all of the fruits, vegetables and herbs from her garden, where she had home grown them with her lovely husband. I requested a vegan menu and Teresa was happy to accommodate my requirements. :-) We made various bruschetta toppings...they melt in your mouth! Then gnocchi from scratch, with 2 different sauces...the lemon & courgette one was my absolute favourite! Also, various vegetable dishes cooked with her own olive oil. And a scrumptious chocolate desert. I've been home a month now and have really enjoyed using the recipes and techniques that Teresa taught me, in many of my meals...the flavours have revolutionised my cooking! I'd highly recommend a course with Teresa...she's really flexible with the meals she teaches...before you arrive, let her know what meals you want to make and learn and she'll do everything she can to help...her recommendations are excellent! I saw that she also has some lovely rooms that she runs as a B&B...it's such a peaceful and welcoming place...I'd recommend stopping overnight if you were to do a course...so you can enjoy the garden, the relaxing and the authentic Italian home cooking for a bit longer :-) Thank you Teresa and family, I'd love to visit you again on my next visit. La Tana del Riccio is the result of a dream of Gerardo and I (Teresa). Both retired, we have built the house following the farmhouse style of the Benevento area. We have always been sharing our passion for food and cooking with our friends and with this house, we just felt the need to share it with more people as possible. Spending time with us will be like stepping in our daily life made of organic production, never-ending cooking session and laugh loads of laughs.
The house is located in Valle Telesina, fertile land where it grows the mela (apple) Annurca an IGP product. We choose this area for its richness of local traditions and quality local produce
