I squeezed in this cooking lesson on my last day in Goa and I'm so glad I did! I've cooked a fair few curries, but the tips and techniques that Manju showed me are the things you just don't find in recipe books. Ashish and Manju were so welcoming and the lesson was fun and the food delicious, which we all sat down to eat together at the end. Learning how to make chapatis was the most fun, but I enjoyed all of it and can't wait to get going, now I am back home. I'd highly recommend it! Thank you Ashish and Manju!
Very nice and reliable people. more than only a coming class, and going with me to buy some spices and others cooking stuff. high recommendation!!
You will learn what Indian spices are for, how delicious Indian food is cooked and of course how to cook a delicious meal. Our group was happy with the cooking class, with the place itself and with the teachers.
I was in Goa at the end of the season, but Manju graciously fit me in, even though it ended up being a solo class, before she and Ashish headed out of the region later that day. You will cook a variety of easy and delicious Indian recipes and more importantly, feel that you are at home with Manju and Ashish’s gracious hospitality. A fantastic class and wonderful cultural opportunity not to be missed!
