Tour includes a boat ride through the village , coconut boat ride and also a massage which makes it very worthwhile. Our tour guide and teacher Vang was also very caring and enthusiastic throughout the session. we were filled with laughter, new experiences and yummy food in our tummy
Amazing experience, we had a small class of only five. Lots of personal attention from the chef and her assistants. The boat ride there was also very nice!
My wife and I had an amazing time with the Sabirama team. We walked through the local market before enjoying a relaxing boat ride and basket boat ride in the coconut village. The cooking class was the real highlight - we were fortunate enough to have a private class with the owner himself who was entertaining, informative and made cooking a breeze. The food turned out delicious and tasted extremely fresh. We would recommend this experience to all who visit Hoi An!
We had a great afternoon, so much was included, and it was more than just a cooking class! Everything was well-organized and we really enjoyed the food we made. Thank you!
It was nice. Started with the market tour - that was a nice local experience. The head to the countryside of Hoi An by boat on the river & then a transfer on another boat through the coconut forest. It was actually pretty chill early in the morning. The massage was short, but relaxing and accompanied by a glass of fruit juice. The class itself was interesting, we've learned how to make rice paper from scratch, which was pretty amazing. But be careful if you are a vegetarian/vegan - they consider oyster sauce/fish sauce/chicken seasoning & fat to be veg. I had to ask for soy sauce to replace the ingredients on the table. Also, if you're a big tipper, get some 10.000 bills with you, you'll have a lot of places to give them away :))) trust me on that. Also, the market is nice to buy some souvenirs at a local price. Sadly, we didn't have much money with us, wished we left more prepared. Overall, a nice experience.
We liked that our guide accompanied us from start to finish. She was very open-minded and answered our questions well and told us a lot of new things about the local spices and vegetables. We were there with an Australian family who we got along with really well. The cooking class was very well organized. Cooking was a lot of fun and the food tasted very good. The entire process was very professional. We expressly recommend this cooking class!
Great morning with Vang as we discovered Hoi An market, travelled by boat, then bamboo basket boat to the cooking school. Foot and shoulder massages helped us relax before tackling the signature dishes of the area under Vang’s watchful eye. Green mango salad with seafood; homemade rice paper which was then used for rice paper rolls; Vietnamese pancakes; and noodles with chicken and prawns. All surprisingly easy to prepare, delicious, and accompanied by the recipes so we can treat family and friends at home to our newfound cooking skills.
Pick up in a luxury aircon car at your hotel for a market & food purchasing experience, then a wooden boat ride to a bamboo boat transfer to the land & a motorbike transfer to the restaurant & cooking school- the alternative would be to take the car both ways if you are not feeling limber! Lots of photo opportunities! 4 fabulous dishes cooked & eaten later, you receive photos sent to your phone & a cookbook of your recipes Sabirama Cooking School was found on Cookly Vand- was our charming female guide, who then became a master chef! Quy, the owner - has Accommodation & restaurant. Other activities are available.
It was a nice experience. We did the afternoon option so the market tour was quite short because there weren't many vendors left (it was also rainy season). The boat trips were cool and unique. The cooking class exceeded my expectations, especially the attention to detail about making the food pretty. The ingredients and techniques were very interesting and very different from the Western style of cooking. Everyone was very nice and welcoming and had loads of patience with us.
This class offered everything from a great cooking lesson, to boat rides, massages and a welcome drink. It seriously was the WHOLE package. My two friends and I all left with such great things to say and incredibly full from the amazing food. It was a lighthearted atmosphere with the owner and staff and it made it a really worthwhile experience. HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An!
Brilliant experience. Hong was a great teacher and guide.
My family (including 3 teenagers) had the most wonderful day with the team at Sabirama. Aung was an incredible host and teacher. She has a fabulous combination of patience and good humour. The cooking was complex enough to feel like we were truly having a lesson, but easy enough to know we will recreate them at home. This tour easily accomodated a wheelchair, extra time in Hoi An and a late drop off. And some great shopping tips too.
It was great seeing and buying some kitchen tools at the market and going via the fishing village & having a little massage before we started. Loved the food we cooked and ate xx
Super moment! Hong, notre guide et coach cuisinière a été adorable, drôle et vraiment exceptionnelle.
We had a great day. Everything was well organised, from the market tour to the boat ride, to the massage to the cooking. The food was delicious, and the dishes where easy and fun to make because Hung explained it very well en demonstrates everything. A lot of the dishes aren’t hard to make at home as well so you can take the learned skills home (as well as the recipes). Hung was a lovely humorous teacher, and we had a good laugh besides the cooking. We had all the dishes vegan, and they were so tasty (would recommend even if you’re not vegan/vegetarian). In my opinion the duration of the session could be even a little longer since the time flew (good thing). All in all: very nice cooking class. (We didn’t do the Buffalo ride, not sure why not, but we didn’t miss it, we do saw a cute cow that we could pet)
The staff were lovely and really attentive. There were so many extra things packed into the class. I am a vegan and they were able to cater for me no problem. Well worth going.
We enjoyed every part of the day, from the market tour in the morning to the boat ride, the foot massage, and finally the cooking. Hung was very warm and made it fun. It was a small class, so very interactive. I would definitely recommend it.
The class was very nice, the market tour was good (we took the morning class so it was not too busy yet), the boat tour and basket voot tour was fun and fhere was a massage when we arrived. The cooking itself was awesome as well, the teacher was very good to follow and the dishes were local and very good, not too easy not too difficult. Vegetarian was possible. If you are looking for a complete morning with nice food on a very nice location, this is the place!
We found this trip on Trip Advisor and decided to book after reading lots of good reviews. We had a private chauffeur take us to the market where we met our guide and chef for the day, Hung. Hung was very friendly, professional and spoke very good English. To begin, she took us to 3 stalls and introduced us to a few local ingredients we would be using later on that day as well as some over typical Vietnamese products you wouldn’t see in the UK. I think because we were with a guide the owners of the stalls weren’t pushing for us to buy things when sampling some of their products so this was a bonus. The market visit wasn’t too long either. After this, we were guided to a boat where we were taken to the cookery school. The boat trip was great. The school is beautifully located in a quiet area of Hoi An nestled between a forest of water coconut trees. Once we arrived we were offered a neck, shoulder and foot massage. The massage therapist was friendly and welcoming however she was a bit distracted… At one stage she took a phone call whilst giving me a shoulder rub with one hand. The cookery course that came after was absolutely excellent. It was very well organised so we didn’t have to waste time measuring and sorting out all of the food prep before hand. We made 4 dishes. Hung is a very talented chef and teacher. We also were shown how to make decorations out of the salads which I thought was a nice touch and long with making rice paper for the summer rolls. The only small thing I would note was we were given a bill for the 2 cans of tiger we ordered when eating our dishes. The pricing for the experience was definitely worth it, and it’s definitely one of the higher end cooking experience services out there. However I think we should have been told we had to pay for the drinks before hand or it should have been included in the cost before hand. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience. At the end we were emailed recipes for the dishes we made. It we extremely well organised and the staff also seemed to really enjoy working for the company too.
Great experience with the boat rides, the relaxing massage and the cooking itself. The dishes are well explained and you don't need cooking experience to make it. The dishes are typically Vietnamese and delicious. The oxcart ride was no longer in the program due to animal regulations.
Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. We especially liked making our own steamed rice paper for spring rolls. The boat ride to the restaurant was an added bonus! Thank you!
wow.. what an amazing tour! the guides are friendly and speak good english.. I will say its a 4 course meal so dont eat before you go.
The Boat trip, Buffalo ride, and Cooking lesson was such a wonderful day. I would recommend this cooking class.
The market tour was short, and the boat ride was nice and long. The bamboo boats was very fun and also the buffalo ride! The cooking class was amazing and also the message. Learned a lot!
The staff for Sabrima cooking was amazing! Everyone was really caring, energetic, and accommodating. The food we learned to make was also incredibly delicious - we were stuffed by the end! Would definitely recommend this tour :)
We had the spontaneous idea of joining a cooking class so we booked the tour with those guys. What a great decision! We had a very enjoyable day together with our tour guide Nhu, who was very friendly and chatty, explaining us anything we wanted to know about the local culture and food. We went on a boat trip to the restaurant, the last part of which was with a basket boat. Before the cooking we had a relaxing foot massage as a part of the tour. All the different dishes we prepared were very easy to make and very delicious. And at least for us, the fact that they showed us how to cook Pho Bo was what tipped the scales. Overall very good half day tour. And make sure you skip breakfast as otherwise you might not be able to fit all the dishes you cook yourself here ;)
We had a lovely time on our course today. Our teacher New was informative, nice and funny. We made 4 tasty dishes. We had a pleasant boat ride to the class after a walk through the bustling morning market. We were brought on a bamboo boat and then took a buffalo taxi to the class. I would recommend this course as an enjoyable and informative day out.
The cooking class was amazing, because it's not just cooking also boat tours. Our chef was very nice and helpful, she knew allot and told us lot of things. Thank you very much, we've learned a lot. :)
We chose the cookery course because it offered an experience and not just cooking. The reviews were also really good. We were not disappointed it was a fabulous morning . Quy was a great host. She took us to the market and explained many things, then we went by boat to see the fishermen and then the bamboo boat, buffalo cart ride, massage and then we learnt to cook then eat 4 amazing dishes. It was the best. We learnt so much about cooking but also how people live. My advice would be to skip breakfast as there is so much to eat. A wonderful experience.
We had a great morning which was much more than just learning to cook four new recipes. Although the Bullock and small round boat rides plus the massage are not exactly related to cooking it added greatly to the overal experience. We recommend this tour anyone
From start to finish this was nothing short of amazing. From the visit to the local markets to the boat ride down the river to the bamboo basket ride to the cooking class, I enjoyed every moment. The cooking class was exceptional and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to try out the recipes when I get home to Australia!
The cooking bit itself was fun and informative; the chef was knowledgeable and challenged us. What really set this experience apart were all the extras: a 40ish minute motorized boatride followed by a basket boatride to shore followed by a Buffalo-led cart tour through the village and then a shoulder and foot massage. What?! It felt completely random but was totally enjoyable; we had a great time and made new friends.
perfect experience. courtesy and support
we booked the night before. everything was perfect and very funny. they are all very kind and supporting also after the class. strongly recommended.
Overall great and food very tasty
The guide was very informative. Initially took us through the markets and explained where all the ingredients come from and what they are used for. The boat ride was nice however a bit long, was still nice to see the river though. The basket boat was a nice touch, good for pics. We loved the buffalo ride with Joe, never done anything like that before. The massage was very enjoyable - and that’s coming from my boyfriend who doesn’t like massages! The actual cooking class was very smooth. Everything was prepared perfectly and the instructions were very clear. The meals tasted delicious and they were fun and quite easy to make. We were lucky because it was just the two of us in the morning so we got to know our guide quite well. I would suggest booking early for the morning session for a smaller class size, was really enjoyable.
Ingredients were fresh and individually portioned and everything was very well executed. The guide was extremely friendly and helpful and answered all the questions that we had. It was an overall very pleasant experience.
Great experience seeing the markets, the river by boat and also a quick ride in a local bamboo boat. Had a short water buffalo cart ride and time for some photos. Foot massage on arrival followed by the class. Class was fun and well organised, cooked 4 different dishes. Instructor was easy to understand. Overall a fun afternoon out.
Super tolles Team!
A brilliant experience, more than just a cooking class. Our guide gave us a tour of the local market and explained all of the local foods to us. The boat trip was very enjoyable and allowed everyone to get to know each other before the class started. This finished with a relaxing foot massage and cocktail while the chefs prepared the kitchen. The cooking class itself was really good. Huge range of dishes and techniques were taught. Really nice setting with very friendly chefs and instructors. To top it all of, my wife was ill and couldn't come on the course, so the staff made an extra one of each dish to send home with me for her. Highly recommended!!
Perfectly organized. Easy communication. We were lucky to be the only 2 persons which made the class even more special. We loved the dishes and all the peaple involved. Thank you:)
It is a delicious cooking class! Nhu is a great chef, she learned us how to cook tasty Vietnamese dishes and how to decorate them nicely! This was definitely my favorite cooking class so far, great for beginners and more advanced cooks. I left with a full and happy stomach!
Thank you, Nhu, for guiding us throughout an excellent day. Sabirama were incredibly lovely and made for a memorable experience in Hoi An.
We had a great time and our teacher was brilliant. Can't wait to try cook these dishes at home.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Be was wonderful and our food was so tasty. Great experience, would highly recommend it.
We had an awesome experience where we visited the market, had a boat trip and foot massage. However, the buffalo ride was not necessary. The cooking class was a lot of fun. In overall, we recommend this cooking class to everyone.
The class started off with a trip to the market and our host explaining a lot about the food we saw and the overall market experience. The boat ride and bamboo boat ride was really enjoyable and a good way to see a part of Hoi an I wouldn’t have otherwise seen. I felt it was a bit unnecessary to have a buffalo ride and the distance was easily walkable. The range of foods we cooked and techniques we learnt were excellent and all the food was really tasty. The food hygiene was good and the setting of the class was lovely. Definitely good value for money.
This class was so much more than cooking, and made for a great morning in Hoi An! Loved it and would recommend.
The staff was so kind and friendly! This is more than just a cooking class as we got a market tour, boat ride, water buffalo ride, foot massage and pedicure. The food was so fun to make and we can’t wait to try the recipes at home
extremely fun and enjoyable! it was a rainy day and our experience there was unforgettable. Chef Be teach us delicious recipe 😋😋😋
My friends and I had such a wonderful time at Sabirama cooking class. This cooking class made our day in Hoi An. The staff was so kind and the programs were joyful. Thanks again to Sabirama cooking class for making us have such a good memory!
We had a fruitful day with Sabirama, we booked 12-6pm for a cooking tour, we were picked up at the hotel by the driver , taking us to meet the tour guide , she was very warm and welcoming, speaking good English. Took a short walk at the wet market followed by a boat trip and short buffalo ride to the cooking class. All the people there were so friendly , smiles all around ! We were welcomed with a nice foot massage and welcome drink. Cooking class was also very fun ! Although the menu was different to the website but all dishes were very authentic and yummy !!! All ingredients were well prepared, we had a delicious meal , both of us was so extremely full after 4 courses. After the meal was finished we chilled by the pool waiting for the driver to drive us back to Hoi an , it was overall a memorable experience !! Will definitely recommend to all of my friends , thanks for a perfect day !
Great variety of activities. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable!!
Great experience from start to finish including boat trips and massage. A very smooth operation. Loved it but should warn clients not to eat a big breakfast beforehand !!
A really good time was had by all the family. The market tour was really interesting, the journey by boat and bamboo circular boat was fun. Finally the cooking class was informative, useful but above all, the final resulting 4 dishes very tasty. Not only did we leave with some new skills but we were all completely full!
From start to finish the morning was fantastic. The guide was so friendly and informative when we went around the market. We all went on a boat and then on a bamboo boat, that was fun. When we got off the boat we all got on a cart which was pulled by a buffalo. Next we all received a foot and shoulder massage, that was lovely . Finally we all started our cooking class. The chef was super nice and very friendly towards everybody. A very enjoyable experience.
Easy and relaxed, with an enjoyable market experience and boat ride. Loved how we experienced genuine Vietnamese life as well as local cuisine. Must try !!!
Very nice and fun cooking class! Definitely recommended :)
Loved everything about the class
An amazing experience. Everything we were looking for - visiting the market, boat ride, beautiful food and the added bonus of a foot and shoulder massage.
whole day was perfect, our host and chef Be was fantastic and very knowledgable and made the cooking fun! extras like the foot massage and basket boat trip made this class stand out from any other. highly recommend.
It was so much fun! Highly recommend to everyone. We had a family of 6 in our group and a few friend group and couples. Great way to Meet new people as you are traveling. But the tour guide did a fun job and she was fun loving and bought so much personality to the cooking class. All the recipe was so delicious! The view was amazing, and the market place was very educational. I learn a lot, ate a lot and had a very good time! Thanks!!
Well spent money! Great mentor, awsome trip and good food!
This class is worth every penny!!! My friend and I had a fantastic experience with our guide, Nhu. Nhu was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and a great chef! You receive so much for the low price including tons of food! Learned a lot the culture in Hoi An and can’t wait to prepare some of the dishes back home! Highly recommend the class.
Such a great experience today. The course was great, very thorough and also super quick as well. Didn’t waste any time which was nice. They were very thoughtful and amazing hosts and my group was also wonderful which is always a plus. Nhu was a GEM and the owner of the cooking school was also such a great man that came up after to make sure we all had a great time. Plus the food was also outstanding 😍 they accommodated to me being a vegan which was very much appreciated. Thank you!!!
Very thank u for my teacher!
Great activities from the boat ride to the coracle ride to buffalo pulling the cart. Neck and shoulder massage was great albeit all too short with a lovely foot massage. The cooking was great with a fantastic chef instructing us being Truong and her helpers we made mango seafood salad, pork and mushrooms pancake, rice pancake and bacon and shrimp pancake wrapped in rice paper and then sautéed chicken with lemongrass and chilli. All of the food was fantastic. We were also shown how to garnish the dishes making cucumber and tomato flowered, cucumber butterflies. When we were first picked up we were taken to the market and shown various spices, oils and vegetables. I would recommend using Sabirama
It's so hot weather but kind teacher's class is so funny !! very exciting class
We (family of three with 8 yr old) had a lovely day with lots of activities - a river boat trip, a short trip in a traditional bamboo boat, a quick ox cart ride, a fantastic foot massage and then of course the cooking course! We cooked some delicious dishes with very clear instructions. We even made some flowers from cucumbers and tomatoes to decorate! A great day!
This was a really great day with a plenty of fun and great food
It was a great morning and our host was lovely.
Nhu was attentive and make it as easy as possible for everyone to follow through. Highly recommend if you’re also travelling with young children, additional staffs are available to assist to make sure both parents and children can enjoy the class.
The whole experience with nhu and her team was fantastic. Going through the market and lovely boat trip, before a delightful foot massage and drink surrounded by orchards over looking a koi pond really set the scene. The cooking class was so much fun and the food absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this to everyone.
I so thoroughly enjoyed this tour and Nhu was such a fantastic tour guide and cooking teacher. She was patient she explained each step in the cooking class well and was such fun to be with. Nhu has a great sense of humour! I’m so proud I learnt how to cook 4 Vietnamese dishes. Thankyou Nhu for such a fun filled and very informative day. Cookly is lucky to have you on their team!
A must do if visiting Hoi An
Small group of 4, from the boat ride in, to the massages we received, to the actually cooking. Couldn’t pick a fault anywhere, very enjoyable day, with a great teacher. Would highly recommend
Nice tutor with good design of the programe. Though only four dishes are mentioned in the teaching, taste of self made sidedish as well as traditional vietnam salad, rice rolls are included. Not to miss in Hoi An if time allows!
I had pretty much enjoyed this activity. Kids are very like this cooking class. We experienced several local experience like as coconut boat riding, buffalo riding etc. Definitely recommend to join this class if you visit Hoi An.
The cooking was fantastic. We are very much enjoyed Sarbirama Class. All the team are kind & well organized. We made local dishes & enjoyed after cooking. We also visited local market & learned many ingredients. Transportation(pick up & drop off) was smooth as well. Buffalo & dogs are very friendly. Our guide, Nhu did very good work. Definitely I will recommend this class when you visit Hoi An.
This is an awesome experience for us. We chose this package as it includes market tour, bamboo boat ride, buffalo ride, massage and of course the cooking! Highly recommended to those who want to further appreciate the Vietnamese culture. We don’t cook but the guide (her name is You) is so encouraging and patient with us, we did 4 Vietnamese dishes! Enjoyed the entire experience!
The cooking class gives you a real taste of the Vietnam culture by taking you to the market and introducing the peculiar and special ingredients at the beginning, followed by a variety of delightful acitivities. Instructor is very friendly and helpful and the venue is a relaxing place as well. I would highly recommend this class!
It was a pretty fun day. We were a small group of 6 people and everyone got to cook their stuff. The location was great and the activities we did before cooking were sweet aswell. Really recommend this tour.
We were a group of 6 people which was really nice. The tour was planned really well and it was great that we had some other things before we started cooking. The only sad thing was that the bamboo boat tour was way to short :( But in general I would just recommend this tour. The food was great!!
A faire 🔝 Laurent P
Super cours, bien organisé tout était vraiment parfait. De plus, la professeure est d'une gentillesse incroyable. Je recommande vivement ce cours, n'hésitez pas une seule seconde. Merci pour ce moment. Aurelie
We had a fantastic time with Nhu and the team, worth every penny. The market trip, boat ride, foot massage, and a great cooking class. I would recommend!
The tour was good every step of the way. Nyu was super helpful and very informative about each meal created. The atmosphere was lovely. Luckily it was just my friend and me so we had time to make mistakes and learn hahaha. Would highly recommend!!
Really enjoyed this afternoon trip with Sabirama. We had a lovely guide called Van, who led us through the market, the boat trips on the long boat and the basket, the water buffalo and the cooking class itself. She was a great teacher, really friendly and making sure we knew what we were doing. The food was good and the setting is very peaceful and relaxing. The foot massage is also a nice touch! Would definitely recommend, it’s great value for money.
We really enjoyed the cooking tour yesterday. We enjoyed the culture, the riverboat ride and most of all the cooking experience. Would recommend this trip. Alison George and Dot from England
We had a good time with our guide Van and learned a lot.
The class is planned really well. You get to the village via car, boats and buffalo which I thought was really fun. The class is quite informative and I enjoyed the decoration part. Also, another person that was supposed to join the class bailed on the spot and I ended up getting a private class which was amazing.
Whilst we got to make some excellent and tasty dishes, Van also took us through the market, on a boat ride including the basket boat, we traveled via ox drawn cart and even had a massage before settling in to making 4 sumptuous dishes. In all a great experience, thanks Van!
We had a great morning at Sabirama Cooking Class. The half-day program included a nice boat ride out of the city to a quiet nearby village where guests were treated to exceptional hospitality including a welcome drink and short foot massage before we got down to the kitchen. About a dozen participants in the class kept it intimate enough so that everyone got to execute all of the dishes with direct oversight by the chef who kept the proceedings very fun and lively. The Chef/owner was exceptionally personable. Especially unique was the opportunity to make rice pancake wrappers from scratch in the traditional way. The food was terrific and our vegetarian diet was accommodated in full. Highly recommended!
It's a good experience. The cooking process is fun and the cooking part isn't too hard at all except for the decorating part. It's quite challenging for men. Overall, it is fun and it won't disappoint you.
The chef was very good at giving instruction. In the meantime, he didn't forget to pay attention to every students. And most importantly, the food were amazing.
The market trip and boat trip was interesting! The round boats were thrilling! The buffalo ride was fun and the cooking class was informative and delicious - all in all not to be missed!
It was an extraordinary cooking class and an unforgettable visit in Hoi an, Vietnam. We had full of adventure. I joined a group of about 8 participants and they were all lovely and friendly. Before the cooking class you will get to experience exciting bamboo boat ride, basket boat sailing and buffalo cart trip. You will be greeted with relaxing foot massage afterwards, a great relief from the tiring yet fun trip. The cooking class was brilliant even more. I got to experience cooking four different dishes all by myself! I even garnished them aha! Vietnamese style! The chef was a total master! Would definitely comeback and experience it again hopefully with my husband soon!
Wife and I took a morning cooking class. Everything went as suggested in their itinerary. Everyone was really nice and we were laughing most of the time. Our chef was very sweet and she taught us to cook and decorate 4 Vietnamese dishes. We ate all the dishes we made. Lot of small touches are what makes this class great - boat ride, bamboo boat ride, foot massage, buffalo riding... All in all, a great way to spend a morning in Hoi An.
Great cooking class, we learned so many new skills and things we can easily use at home. Our chef was brilliant, patient and helpful with a great sense of junior. All my vegetarian options were delicious.
This was an excellent cooking course, our 'chef' showed us four different dishes from scratch. She was great fun and took all the time we needed to learn. The food was delicious and we had lots of time to prepare it and enjoy it. Highly recommended.
It was more than a class, but a whole unique experience. From the river tour, to the basket boat ride and the bull ride. The staff was extremely friendly and our host (Be) was super fun and knowledgeable. I loved the way she explained things and was eager to share her knowledge. We went yesterday and I’d go back again today ... if I wasn’t so full.
The experience was wonderful, we got to ride on a boat and see Hoi An from the water, got a great photo in a basket boat and riding a water buffalo. The food was delicious and the class was fun and very interesting.
Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the market tour to the boat trip down the river, basket boat to the ox-drawn carriage, massage and pedicure.. all before we even started cooking!! Learned some really useful handy skills, cooked under expert guidance and sat down to a delicious meal each time in great company. 5 star experience with 5 star hosts. Many thanks!!
It was a fantastic tour, very well organised and the cooking class was amazing. We really enjoyed the variety provided in the tour too (market visit, boat trip down the river, bamboo boat experience, buffalo cart, massage). Thank you!
Wonderful class! Would 100% recommend.
Super friendly teacher, explaining everything during the tour and has a good sense of humor. Speaks good English. The boat ride was relaxing. The basket boat and buffalo ride was short but long enough for what it was. And the cooking class itself was really fun. The food turned out great even when we had zero talent. Highly recommended and a great way to spend an afternoon.
The cooking class is really amazing and the dishes are absolutely delicious. The tour and boat ride bit can be more condensed, but overall highly recommended!
The experiences outside of the cooking itself make this trip worth while. With that said, Be, our instructor was amazing!! We learned lots of dishes and how to garnish them. The one thing that was a little odd, was there were puppies running under our feet. This would only be considered an issue in the fact that we were cooking. Other than that...I loved it!!
I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic Vietnamese experience. Not only did we learn how to prepare, cook and eat delicious Vietnamese cuisine, we also got to take a boat ride to the restaurant and take part in activities such as basket boat rides and buffalo cart rides along the way. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We were given a complimentary glass of mango juice on arrival and treated to a relaxing head, shoulders and foot massage before we began to cook. It’s a brilliant tour from start to finish.
What a fabulous morning we had exploring the markets, meandering along the river, giggling in a read boat, enjoying a water buffalo ride, relaxing with a massage and learning how to cook some key Vietnam dishes. Absolutely perfect and worth every penny. Our guide and chef was just brilliant, giving us lots of encouragement and clearly sharing our enjoyment of our cooking successes. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone - so much experienced in just half a day!
We had a brilliant morning with Cookly in Hoi An. The market trip was fascinating, the boat trip a bit too long but interesting, the coracle boat was short but sweet, Joey the water buffalo was gorgeous, our foot and neck massage was delicious and after all that we learnt how to cook 4 dishes and decorate them. The chef was fantastic, the dishes simple but excellent and they catered well for the fact I don't eat meat. Altogether a great morning. Thank you.
From start to finish our tour guide - Nhu was excellent! We were dropped at the food market where he met us. She showed lots of different spices and herbs and we had a great time figuring out what each of them were. From the market we got a boat to the cooking class, this was a lively way to see the area. When we arrived we got into basket boats which were great fun. In the basket boat we even had little rings made for us from bamboos.. such a nice little touch. Next was the buffalo, this was great fun - hilarious! We arrived at the cooking class and the area itself was fabulous, it was obvious it was really clean. We were greeted with a welcome drink and had a lovely foot massage. When we began our cooking, everything was laid for us and e got started on our 4 courses. It was a great experience. Nhu has excellent English and she really taught us lots about Vietnamese food. It's clear that she loves what she does 😁 Overall the morning was fantastic, it wasn't just a cooking class, there were so many other great elements to the day and we really thoroughly enjoyed it! I'd 100% recommend!
Be was our instructor, we had the best time! It was an amazing experience and would recommend to anyone. Recipes were do-able and delicious! Absolutely loved it

There was a great variety of activities, we did a walk through the market , a boat ride down the river , a basket boat ride a ride on a buffalo cart , followed by a welcome drink and a foot massage and that was all before we started the amazing cooking course ..we learned how to make 4 dishes our guide/instructor was very good informative and fun there was so much food we left stuffed ..well worth it a great day out . Thanks Lynn

The tour guide and the chef were outstanding they made our morning both informative and amusing. Saw lots of Hoi An and did lots o& interesting thins especially the boat rides. The cooking class was the standout, a great location, great chef and staff and made some great food. Highly recommended will be back.
The class quality was above my expectations. The teacher was very kind, helpful and good at communication. The recipes were excellent and the teacher encouraged for me to do better which was very nice. She is indeed very talented at cooking and talking to people. The boat trip was very good also, the market tour was helpful and the overall experience was outstanding. I will highly recommend it to all my friends who visit the city.
So many experiences can be gained in the journey. The basket boat, buffalo cart, local market, foot massage. Even touching the buffalo which is really cuteee. The cooking class is so nice. Really can cook a lot and eat a lot. The teacher is so sweet and so encouraging!!! The environment of the school is so relaxing especially you are hvaing your foot massage. What a good time with my classmates to learn the culture of vietnam.
The cooking class was great. It was only us 2 so we really enjoyed our time with our guide Bé. She was funny and told us many interesting things. Visit of farmers market, boat trip, water buffalo (only 5-10 minutes but still fun), massage was also very nice! The recipes were delicious. We would totally recommend it! The money is worth it :-)
We weren’t sure which to go to as there were so many cooking classes in Hoi An but what caught our eye was the little sailing boats that we got to go one. So we decided to give it a go and we were pleasantly delighted. Such a great experience every moment was very informative and fun! We would do it again if we were to ever come back to Hoi An. Great job to our tour guide!!
Vietnamese food is definitely the balanced flavours of south east Asia,
The whole experience, from start to finish, was absolutely amazing! Friendly people, great itinerary and amazing food - what’s not to like! If you find yourself in Hoi An, please do yourself a favour and book a class!

We enjoyed our cookingclass very much. The dishes are very well Chosen and Not the Touristy dishes which a lot other cookingclass offer. What we like Most was that everybody had His own Pan so everybody had to Cook by himself. Its not a cookingclass Where you just watch you Must work for your food. Our Chef spoke really good english and was really funny. Overall we loved the class. Thank you very much! Tina & Sammy
We enjoyed our cookingclass class a lot. The Chef speak very good english and was a lot fun. The Dishes we cooked were very good chosen we Loved all of them. We had a Great day with sabirama. Thank you very much
This was a great tour, very well organised and we took away some great recipes to try at home. We were the only couple on the tour so had Sanirama all to ourselves, the market stop was informative, the journey by boat and water buffalo really anjoyable and it was a nice treat to have the foot massage before the cooking started. The food was prepped and each course laid out neatly for us with all the utensils and pans we needed and Sabirama talked us through the cooking step by step. All the food was delicious. A great day, thanks to Sabirama and the team.
Sabirama's cooking class was the highlight of my Hoi An trip. Various activities such as basket boat sailing, Buffalo riding are very interesting. Also, the teacher is nice and patient. I was really enjoy the class with Sabirama.
I love the bamboo boat trip but expecting the ride can be longer. Buffalo ride is special. Cooking is a bit too easy and the equipment quality can be better.
Duration of bamboo trip is a bit short. But I loved the Buffalo ride. Cooking is quite simple. Suggest to include making of dessert.
It was a nice day taking a boat ride to the countryside. The hands on cooking was fun and the food was delicious. My friends and I totally appreciated the great service. Highly recommend this activity for having fun with friends, families or even solo travelers to meet people.
Overall experience was excellent. The chef was very personable, great food and perfect portion sizes allowed us to try everything without feeling too full. The water buffalo ride and massage were nice add-ons but not really necessary. Market and boat ride were great. Our guide Sam was really nice as well.
The trip to a countryside of Hoi an, Cam Thanh village( around 4kms away from the center) combines some small adventures like: local market, boat trip on the river, basket boat sailing, water Buffalo cart pulling on the way to the restaurant and relax with the foot, head, shoulder massage the end before cooking.
