My wife and I had an amazing experience learning how to cook paella, experiencing small bites as we were cooking. The environment is cozy, making the overall experience well worth the cost. Highly recommend while you are in Barcelona!
Guido was wonderful! Very fun and informative. We helped make a delicious meal!
Really enjoyed the event! I would love to have learned to cook Croquettes if possible.
My friend and I spent a few days in Barcelona prior to a cruise. We had both visited before, and both love to cook, so I booked this for one evening. We absolutely loved it. Guido and Morgan were so nice and fun, and we had a really great group. The loft is beautiful, well appointed and just a perfect way to enjoy a dinner in Barcelona. We made paella, tapas and creme brûlée while sipping sangria and wine.
This was such a wonderful experience! Guido was a nice and knowledgeable chef, and Belle was so sweet in helping. We had plenty of food and drinks, and it was all delicious! We loved learning from each other. Definitely book!
Christian was awesome. We could tell he really took pride in his cooking. We also made sangria and had wines.
Amazing experience, so much food, intense flavors, we truly love learning about regional cuisine.
Guido was amazing and the paella was delicious! Highly recommend!
Morgan was an awesome host and teacher. She helped us make the best food I had while in Spain and best paella ever.
Great experience. Really learned a lot about the culture and cooking processes
This was so much fun. I consider myself an experienced cook but I learned so many new techniques. Best cooking class ever.
We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Cooking Class and Market Tour! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, fun, and authentic.
I had the chance to learn how to make paella quickly and in a fun way, and enjoying it afterwards was simply magnificent.
Our group cooking class with Foodieteca was more that we could ever have hoped for. After an interesting stroll in the local market, we found ourselves in a stylish, cozy studio. The chef was very friendly and helpful throughout the afternoon. We then cooked some delicious dishes and enjoyed them. The whole atmosphere was relaxed. Would definitely recommend!
My partner and I had an amazing time with Frank doing our cooking class. The venue is amazing. A large, open plan living area with a huge kitchen in the centre provided a wonderful setting. Frank was an amazing host. We loved the hour we spent in the market picking up some of the ingredients and learning so much about the fresh produce of Barcelona and the culture of the city. We made 5 fantastic dishes, with plenty of leftovers for us to take home for the next day. What made it more special was how friendly Frank was as well as being an amazing teacher. It was amazing to hear about his life and we left thinking like we had known him for years. Our time at La Foodieteca put a huge smile on our faces. Although the price seems expensive it was definitely value for money as we learnt how to cook a 5 course meal and the leftovers were our lunch for the next day!
I organised and attended a corporate team building event with Cookly (15 people). We enjoyed cooking a number of local Spanish dishes and then sitting together to dine in the lovely surroundings. The venue and the facilities were just perfect. And the staff especially made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and we all had a great time. Thank you for a lovely experience!
Foodieteca is a diaphanous New York-style loft located in the center of Barcelona.
A private mezzanine from where you can enjoy unrivaled views of one of the busiest streets in the gothic quarter of the city and the Roman wall of the Cathedral.
A cozy 150 m2 venue with private entrance, 3 meters high vault, brick wall, industrial beams and large windows which flood the venue with natural light.
Foodieteca brings you a whole cooking experience that will turn your workshop into something out of the ordinary.
