Beautiful activity! My gosh. Masala Medley has an amazing clean beautiful space and my three teenagers absolutely loved this. You will not regret it. Don't eat before hand. Very very very well Organized!!

We did the morning cooking class with Renee and it was really awesome. We learned a lot about spices used in Malaysian Indian cuisine in the beginning and then started with preparing our own pakoras, followed by chicken curry and then a very tasty dessert called kesari accompanied with masala chai. The premises are well separated into preparation, cooking and dining area. Overall it was a great experience and Renee was a fabulous host. Highly recommend!

Renee explained the ingredients and each step of the dish in detail. I can highly recommend it!

The instructor was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. The recipes were delicious, easy to follow, and full of authentic flavor. Everything was perfectly organized, and I left inspired to cook more dishes at home. A wonderful experience from start to finish!

Renee explained everything so clearly and showed us each step with so much patience and joy. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of laughter. It was truly a wonderful experience - something I would happily do again and again. Highly recommended!

Renee put so much effort and love into preparing the day, paying attention to every little detail. We made a starter, a main course, and even a dessert with hot chai. Not only did everything taste amazing, but the whole experience of cooking a bit, then eating together, and repeating that rhythm made it extra special.

We didn’t know what to expect as a family of four with not a lot of experience in cooking Malaysian/Indian food, and with a somewhat awkward nine year old. But it worked wonderfully! The tutor was very patient with our younger son (and the older one got really stuck in). We made a tasty three course meal by 11:30am - it did feel a bit odd having eaten that much by then but it wasn’t too much of a burden. It’s a pity we don’t have anywhere in our hotel to hear up leftovers. Would thoroughly recommend.

This was such a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Renee was so kind and fun and everything is beautifully organized. The class was really great and I highly recommend it.

Had a great experience with Renee. She was an amazing host. We learned a lot about herbs and spices, made our own pakoras followed by chicken curry. Then we learned about masala chai and made a very tasty kesari as dessert. All facilities where very clean. The separation into preparation, cooking and dining at different spaces was really good. Would highly recommend it!

We asked in advance to get a private class and it was simply amazing! Renée was a great host and we really enjoyed the class. The dishes were delicious. The new studio was very well located and very modern. 100% recommended!

Our host shared a lot of information about the various spices and she was very patient with her instructions. The entire work space was exceptionally clean, well decorated with bright colors and cultural pieces. The food was simply outstanding. A must do when visiting Malaysia.

Everything was very organized and our teacher, Renee, was extremely knowledgeable and kind. She patiently walked us through several complex dishes and broke them down into very manageable steps. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this class again and am excited to try their upcoming offerings next time I’m in KL!

We had a cooking class with Renee at Masala Medley and it was absolutely brilliant. We are currently travelling Asia and we've done a cooking class in every country we have been too, and this one is by far the best even though it's brand new. The class itself is in a freshly renovated property that has a large seating area where you sit down, learn about all the spices, why and how to cut and mix the ingredients. You then move to the cooking area that's spacious and great decor. Once you've cooked your dishes you head to another cozy and warm dining area to enjoy your food. The whole place is very rustic, warm, stylish, inviting and very clean. The ingredient pots, entire decor gives the whole place an authentic family feel to the place. Renee is a fantastic teacher and her Mum is great too. They were very informative about Indian spices and ingredients and how to use them, the recipes are family recipes which adds a great personal touch. If you are in Kuala Lumpur and looking for a cooking class we couldn't recommend it higher.
