Hoi An Cooking School

Had a good time walking through the market, riding the bamboo boats, and then learning to cook some Vietnamese dishes! I particularly enjoyed the menu of the items we cooked which is mainly why I booked this class. A warning though that the listing says the class ends at 12:30pm, but we were not even halfway through the dishes by 12:30pm, and I had to leave by 12:50pm to go to another tour I had scheduled, so missed dessert.

Excellent food tour with local guides, Linh and Ba Tran. Lots of excellent local street food. Not only great guides but super accommodating as we mixed up our dates and were one day late for tour, which they arranged to run anyway. Thanks Cookly and Ba Tran for making it work. Highly recommended.

The cooking class was amazing. The teacher great, the food delicious, the place beautiful. The bamboo basket was so much fun!!!!! ♥ Also they respect any allergies o food intolerance you may have. Highly recommend the experience!!

Me and my partner attended this tour and Nga was brilliant . We went to the local market where she explained the traditional dishes of vietnam and all the ingredients needed , we then went to the coconut basket boats and wore the traditional hats , our boat driver was fun and we went crab fishing . After this we had a cooking class that was extremely good and got to take the recipes home with us ! Fantastic experience would recommend to anyone visiting hoi an . They were all very friendly too :)

Really fun class, the basket boats were super cute and I caught a crab! Was great fun to go to the market and learn about everything on offer. The recipes we made were gorgeous, and I've made them again since I got home. Really good organisers, and good value for money too :)

What a fantastic way to not only experience the traditional fisherman’s mode of transport in a basket boat but also to actually do some crab fishing off the side! Our guide took us through the market and showed us some of the ingredients I had been dying to identify, then the cooking class itself was fantastic with a wonderful chef teaching us! Definitely recommended and I would love to do another class wit cookly

This is a must-do when traveling to Vietnam! The entire experience was thorough and smooth. We loved the boat ride down the river and the market tour! Our guide was very helpful and fun! The cooking class was delicious and a great way to experience Vietnamese food first hand.

We really enjoyed the cooking class and the four dishes we made. It's great that we got the recipes in a small booklet so we can try to make the dishes at home! The basket boat tour was nice, we liked the crab fishing. I only think it is strange to ask for a tip of 20.000 per person at the end, that's a personal decision!

I really loved the tour through the market, where our guide showed us around and let us taste different fruits and cookies. A nice extra was that she also helped us bargain with the local traders to help get us better prices. :) followed by a tour on the river by a big boat to a part where we were put in groups of two in a basket boat (with a personal sailor) to go crab fishing. The following cooking class was rather easy and low level. Good for beginners, a bit too simple for the foodies-chefs.

WE LOVED THIS DAY! It started off with an on time pick up at our hotel. We loved our guide that showed us around the market, filled us with knowledge of the local people and market. We then hopped on a boat and took a nice trip on the river. We arrived at the coco nut boats and that was a highlight. We enjoyed boating down the river with a local that was joyful and singing and just a lot of fun. We learned to fish and tried to catch some crabs. Then we went to our location for the cooking class. Everything was so organised and they even had a vegetarian option. The food was delicious and they were so patient when teaching us. We could not wait to eat each dish and we went home with the cook book of what we made. We finished off with being dropped off at our hotel with a happy and full stomach. A CLASS WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER, thank you for the fun, good food and experience.

it's a good class. I want to do it again next time.

Everything was so good! The people and the food and the programme

The guide was kind. And all experience is soo fun.

The local market sight, coconut boat, and cooking were all very hot. To be honest, it was too hard to be hot. But I could get good information in the market. Also, coconut boat were a strange and fun experience. The leaf toy they gave us was so cute. The cooking experience was a great opportunity to interact with people. I liked the food I made. And My guide was kind and everything was good, but there were too many ants and flies on our table. That part was not very good.

Tour guide spring was so sweet and kind the course was perfect!

Great half day trip! Was a lot more than a cooking class which was awesome as we got a boat trip too. Food was delicious and group wasn’t too big.
