I had fun making many some kinds of sushi while learning about the history of Edomae sushi, which was very interesting. I didn’t only enjoy making sushi but also tasting them as well. Everything served was I’m good quality and special. ( not only fish but also rice, vinegar, seaweed etc..) I’ve eaten sushi at many places but it was the best sushi ever in my whole life. Hope to visit again!

There was lots that I didn’t know; I learned about the joy of sushi, and I was reminded of how beautiful culture is. I enjoyed this experience with my colleagues, and it was interesting to see how everyone’s finished sushi plate was attractive but different!

I’m Akemi Castellano, a certified sushi chef and the owner of this cooking school.
I created these lessons for tourists visiting Japan, foreign residents, and locals who want to explore the art of authentic Edo-mae Sushi.
