Barcelona Cooking

Thank you for this Great Event we had on this Saturday in Barcelona!!! It was a fantastic evening with Antonio and the other participants. We learned many secret details about the preparation of Catalan tapas and we had much fun together. Also the tasting of the (our!) tapas had been very good. I can highly recommend that everyone take part in a cooking class like this at least once!

This cooking class surpassed my expectations! The visit to the market and the preparation of the dishes added a layer of richness to the overall experience, making it incredibly enjoyable. Juan, our instructor, was exceptional, providing clear guidance and making the learning process fun. The class size, consisting of around 11 students, was ideal for fostering a sense of camaraderie and allowing everyone to engage in the cooking process. We enjoyed the opportunity to learn and connect with fellow participants while savoring the dishes we created. One of our favorite experiences of our trip to Spain!

Enjoyed the market tour. We were five cooking enthusiasts and the chef was funny, so we all had a good time, especially after wine o'clock. I will definitely cook paella again. I'm still waiting on the recipes though. It was said they will be sent to us.

We had a great time with Renata in Barcelona last week, the session was very well constructed, she was friendly, humorous & very experienced: great outcome - 10/10.

This cooking class was really fun. I had a great time, together with my wife. The cooking instructor was very patient and easy-going and showed us how to make a great paella, which we could then replicate back at home. All in all it was a very nice experience which I can only recommend.

What a lovely experience. Yesterday, we had the chance to take a cooking class with Barcelona Cooking, and from someone living here, I can tell you, the experience is great. The chef is a real pro and very open to teaching you and helping you learn Spanish cuisine. All the ingredients were super fresh and the final result was great. Most importantly, in these times, the cleaning measures were perfect, he made sure we had a enjoyable and safe experience. If you get the chance to visit Barcelona or if you live here and you want to have a one of a kind cooking experience, don't think twice. This is your place

Stephan.. The trainer chef was great. He has a good attitude and patient in teaching and sense of humor as well. He makes u feel like u know him for a long time before.. He gave a good cooking tips.. The place is great and fully prepared. They are so professional

My husband and my siblings and I had a great time with our Chef teacher. Food was amazing and his instructions were clear and complete. We also enjoyed the food and wine as well as meeting new people.

La Boqueria is a must! The market tour is very insightful. It was an intimate experience yet provided a culture driven purpose. We went to the market and met the locals while seeing how organized and clean the surroundings were. It was a total different setting from other markets abroad. Besides the tour, it was a really good use of the time to buy fresh ingredients. The kitchen was organized that upon our arrival all the materials and tools were already laid out per student. Chef Ross did a great job of sharing the techniques in cutting, chopping, grating etc. The class was also non-cook friendly and child friendly. My daughter had a great time chopping and cooking. It was a hands on experience with wine tasting afterwards. This was a great experience! Kudos to the staff and Chef Ross! Awesome job!

Lalo was interesting and kept us moving - some background on the food and area and illustrating the steps and we just got to it. Wonderful and possibly best meal in Barcelona!

My husband and I really enjoyed going to the Boqueria market with our chef to pick out the fresh ingredients for our cooking class. We brought everything back to the class and everyone took part in preparing the 5 course meal. The vegetables, fruit, and seafood were so fresh and delicious. We enjoyed local wine as we prepared and eventually ate the results of our labor. We will be recreating the recipes for friends and family.

Really good class, would definitely recommend. The chef was really personable, helpful and gave a great tour of the market.

We enjoyed the tour of the boqueria and learned a lot from our knowledgeable chef and guide, Chef Ross. Besides the tour, it was a really good use of the time to buy fresh ingredients. When we arrived, the tools and equipments where laid out nicely on the kitchen table. Chef Ross did a great job of sharing the techniques in cutting, chopping, grating etc. My son had a great time chopping the peppers and cleaning the mussels. We learned so much from making the potato omelette to cooking the paella. It was a great family experience for us because my son was able to cook with me and his dad. We cannot wait to make them here at home. I highly recommend this cooking class with Chef Ross to others!

This was my first experience through Cookly. Easy to book. The class was fabulous. It was a lot of fun and very hands-on. Plus, I learnt about Catalan culture, food and cooking techniques, I received instruction from a qualified chef, and I got to sit down and enjoy a four course meal with good wine at the end!

Course was three hours and we learned how to create some simple, yet amazing tapas dishes! Small group made the setting intimate enough to ask questions, participate, and get to know the people around us! So much fun! And an absolutely tasty outcome!!

Great teacher and excellent food

The overall experience was amazing, l will be writing the best review on yelp once l get the recipes from the class. I also requested from the chef a few additional recipes that he said were no problem to send me. Like croquettes, tortilla espanola and chorizo a la sidra. Booked this for me and 2 girl friends. The chef was very friendly and the food was delicious. We made 4 / 5 different types of tapas, which we then enjoyed with wine.

It was awe inspiring to see how Chef Stefano conducted this class of 12; children, adolescents, & adults! Everyone was involved in the prep, cooking, serving & eating experience while he kept everything moving at a comfortable pace. It was amazing to see how proficient he was at juggling several plates at once, never letting one slip away, or getting flustered. Stefano is a true teacher & people person. Thank you for finding a spot in your schedule for us when our Tuesday night class wasn't feasible.

Our chef Rose was fun, friendly made it fun for our whole family. She was great at the instruction in the kitchen and in the market choosing our food plus a little history and tourist info along the way. We loved it
