Really Nice Place. Had a paella making class there. Staff was great, super nice and helpful. Definitely recommended this place.
Located at Carrer de la Lleialtat 16 in El Raval, the restaurant works with a simple idea: carefully sourced ingredients, a relaxed atmosphere, and an interactive experience that goes far beyond just sitting down to eat. Luis’s passion for Spanish cuisine is genuinely infectious. Whether you’re dropping in for a simple lunch or taking one of his paella workshops, you feel his commitment to getting it right. In their paella workshop, you don’t just watch, you cook!! You’re guided step by step so you get to know the ingredients, understand how flavor is built, and experience the real rice-cooking process from the pan to the table. What makes Luis special is his teaching style. He explains the why behind every step, making even complete beginners feel confident in the kitchen. The experience is designed for you to learn, take part, and have fun, even if you’ve never cooked paella before. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and you’re sharing the moment with other food lovers. Your workshop experience includes all the ingredients and equipment you’ll need, hands-on guidance throughout, tastings, drinks, and the final moment of sharing the paella you’ve just prepared. There’s something special about eating paella you’ve cooked with your own hands, especially when it’s Spain’s national dish made exactly how it should be. If you can’t make a workshop, the lunch menu is equally impressive. Their lunch service is focused on rice dishes, designed to help you experience Barcelona through rice. This is the kind of place that reminds you why authentic human connection over food matters. Highly recommended.
A friend recommended this place as it’s something different than just a normal restaurant and to be honest it exceeded our expectations Its kind of an experience, the host greeted us nicely, explained each step to cooked together, cava and wine and snacks in between Afterwards we dined together, amazing Also the location is super beautiful, very modern, great vibe All in all top! We will come back with our families :)
Such a good service and the food was really good. A 10/10 evening.
Rice to Meet You stands out as one of the most genuine, educational, and delicious paella experiences I’ve had. Located at Carrer de la Lleialtat 16 in El Raval, the restaurant works with a simple idea: carefully sourced ingredients, a relaxed atmosphere, and an interactive experience that goes far beyond just sitting down to eat.
Rice to Meet You is a culinary experience in Barcelona dedicated to paella, Spanish food culture and the pleasure of sharing a meal around the table. Guests learn step by step how to prepare a paella in a relaxed, friendly and participatory setting. More than a cooking class, it is a moment to cook together, discover local flavors, meet new people and enjoy the food we have prepared as a group.
