Vielen Dank an ihn!
Rai was really knowledgeable about the area and made the tour really fun beyond showing locations. We were taught restaurant etiquette and some really fun facts about some of the golden gai bars. highly recommended!! Food choices were excellent! I got to try some yummy things I would have never known to order on my own.
This tour is a great way to look at the "real” Tokyo, away from the business district and the high end shopping. The tour was both fun and educational. Our guide, Hannah, was a gem, very knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend this trip to others.
Josh was a great guide, very friendly, informative and great fun. He made sure that we also drank water as well as tasting some really great and unusual cocktails particular to Japan. He asked which we preferred cocktails or more whiskey based - I like both but my husband preferred whisky, so Josh took us to a bar to taste different Japanese brands. He also showed us a shrine which we never would have known was there and explained the culture and worship behind it. He told us lots of interesting things about Tokyo. He was much better than the guide the Travel Company we arranged the holiday with on arrival the day before to Japan! He made an enormous effort to ensure that we had a good time - I would highly recommend him.
We really enjoyed the food tour with Michie. We gained an insight into Japanese culture and ate food that most tourists don't get to see. It was very varied and we really enjoyed it. It is more than worth the price and is made all the more enjoyable by Michie's friendly company. We can recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something really special on their trip to Tokyo.
Our guide, Alex, was outstanding- friendly, knowledgeable and very considerate of guests needs. Great value for money as you get so much food included and you get to supports real local businesses. Exceeded our expectations, definitely recommend.
Yappy and Hana were absolutely amazing! They taught us everything from the origins of traditional dishes, history of each restaurant and it’s area, Japanese food manners and phrases, and much more. They also accommodated my husband’s shellfish allergy to ensure he could indulge at every stop. We truly were showed some of Tokyo’s best hidden gems and would do this tour again any day!
Our tour guide Wes was awesome! He was friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. He also gave us recommendations for our trip to Kyoto. It was just me and my daughter (14) on the tour so we had some time to explore different places, like a cool sticker shop and a few other stores. We started at a dessert spot and ended at a dessert spot. In between we had savory items.
We had a great time on our kawaii food tour of Harajuku! Our 8-year-old daughter loves all things kawaii and she enjoyed every stop and became best friends immediately with our wonderful guide, Michie. Michie went above and beyond on our tour, ensuring we saw (and tasted) everything.
Amazing amazing tour! From the hosts to the hidden gem stops, it's truly for people who want to get a local experience and would be uncomfortable trying to figure it out on their own. I normally don't go to bars on my own because I'm a little intimidated by the language barrier. However, being on this tour made everything so easy and I learned so much. I got to try a matcha martini which was totally the highlight of the tour!
This was really one of the biggest highlights of our trip. I travelled with my two kids (11 and 13 yrs) who cannot stop talking about it. The guide was both knowledgeable, and friendly and went out of her way to make sure we learned both about the food, culture and history
