Welcome to El Arrayan! What does the name stand for? Arrayan is a tree, and its sweet and sour fruit, which grows in this region of Jalisco, Mexico, just like our own arrayan tree does in the restaurant’s courtyard. To say El arrayan is to say that since 2003, hundreds have supported us by coming back and recommending us to their family and friends; by doing so they motivate us to create new flavors and combinations, they challenge us to cook more delicious, daring dishes.
Great class learned a lot Carmen (owner) was wonderful
My husband and I have been traveling to PV, twice a year for many years, and we've taken many cooking classes. This class is so informative, hands on and fun that we totally look forward to our time with Carmen and the staff of El Arrayan. We eat and cook Mexican food regularly and weren't able or knowledgable about cooking traditional Mexican dishes until we took the cooking classes. If cooking isn't totally for you, it's still a great place to hang out, learn a little something new and be treated well. We highly recommend El Arrayan for both dinner or a cooking class!
Learning to make mole was a really cool experience. Definitely a highlight of my trip.
As a lover of Mexican food and a serious foodie, this class was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was fresh and the food was delicious!
Everyone was super welcoming and so many of the dishes were out of this world! Really unique and authentic food.
