Wir waren nur zu zweit und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Unser Kurs dauerte viel länger als geplant, weil die Unterhaltung einfach nicht aufhörte. Denise macht das mit Leidenschaft, und das merkt man. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Denise hat uns die taiwanesische Teezeremonie in einem Teehaus wunderbar vorgestellt. Sie erklärte das Teegeschirr, präsentierte sechs verschiedene Teesorten und wir probierten zwei verschiedene Aufgüsse. Unser Gespräch verlief ganz ungezwungen, und wir unterhielten uns schließlich sogar über andere Themen als Tee, was das Ganze zu einem persönlichen und angenehmen Erlebnis machte!

Als Laie hat sie mir die Welt des Tees nähergebracht und mir geholfen, die Teekultur zu verstehen und wertzuschätzen. Sie ist außerdem eine wunderbare Gesprächspartnerin für verschiedenste Themen und bietet viele Einblicke in Taiwan aus der Perspektive einer Einheimischen.

Mein Mann und ich sind aus den USA zu Besuch und obwohl wir beide gerne Tee trinken, haben wir keine Ahnung, wie man guten von schlechtem Tee unterscheidet oder wie man ihn richtig zubereitet, serviert und genießt. Denise verfügt über ein enormes Wissen und eine große Leidenschaft für Tee. Sie hat uns alles auf sehr verständliche Weise erklärt. Und was noch wichtiger ist: Sie ist einfach eine sehr nette und sympathische Person! Kommen Sie für ein unvergessliches Teeerlebnis und gehen Sie mit einer neuen Freundin nach Hause ☺️

Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit mit Denise, die mir als Tee-Neuling sofort ein gutes Gefühl gab. Die zwei Stunden vergingen wie im Flug und ich habe viel über taiwanesische Tees und die Kunst der Teezubereitung und des Teetrinkens gelernt! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben so viel von Denise gelernt, vor allem über taiwanesischen Tee. Der war auch sehr lecker! Sie hat uns aber auch viele interessante Einblicke in Taiwan, die Kultur, die Stadt und vieles mehr gegeben! Ich wünschte, wir hätten sie schon früher auf unserer Reise gebucht, anstatt erst gegen Ende, denn sie hatte uns einige tolle Empfehlungen für die Stadt und die Umgebung gegeben. Die Veranstaltung war sehr informativ, und trotz meiner Vorkenntnisse über japanisches Tee habe ich noch viel über Tee selbst gelernt. Sie bot außerdem eine hervorragende Einführung in die Teeproduktion in Taiwan. Ich kann sie jedem, der sich für Taiwan interessiert, wärmstens empfehlen.

I learned a lot about tea and tasted 4 different types of tea. Class is customized and provides excellent knowledge.

I can't say enough good things about Denise and this class! We learned so much, and the teas she brought from her personal collection were delicious. After the class, Denise went above and beyond with suggestions on how/where to buy tea in the city. If you're debating whether to book this class, do it!

Denise was an incredible host! After a long day, it was very nice to learn about Taiwanese teas. We had many questions and Denise was very thoughtful and knowledgable on everything tea! This was definitely my favorite thing I did in Taiwan! Denise was so kind and informative about tea and Taiwan! I learned so much about tea, how to know if a tea is good quality, the Taiwanese tea ceremony, and Taiwan! Denise makes the time fun with her funny jokes, interesting stories, and good conversation, and she has the best expertise of tea of anyone I've ever met! She provided delicious tea, snacks, and beautiful tea utensils, she even gave my a fresh lychee when I said I hadn't had any Taiwanese fruits :) she is a friendly host and does not try to sell you anything but only educates you on whatever you want to know about tea, I am happy to have met here here. The space was beautiful and comfortable as well, and convenient to get to by metro. I would definitely recommend this experience and I would do it again next time I am in Taiwan!

Denise provided a wealth of good information leading into the ceremony. The teas were of high quality and the ceremony was performed with elegance and grace. It was well worth the time

Denise is an absolute delight to talk with! not only did I learn lots about tea and Taiwanese tea ceremonies, I also felt like I made a friend. as someone who tends to be more on the introverted side, I still felt very comfortable talking with Denise for hours! it is very clear that she loves what she does and is highly knowledgeable in the area (she has even won prestigious awards in the Taiwanese tea scene, so it felt like I was speaking with someone of a high caliber like Gordon Ramsay haha) in between the expert info, we would talk about our lives and share advice - it truly felt like I was just talking to someone I've known for a very long time. thank you for the great time, I will definitely attend Denise's session again if I am in Taiwan as there's still so much to explore even after 2-3 hours together. you also walk away with a vial of your favourite tea during the session, which was the cherry on top. if you are looking for a deep dive into Taiwanese tea, this is the perfect space to spend your day in Taipei.

Denise who conducted the class was very personable. She had a write-up describing the tea ceremony as well as the different types of tea and what makes them different from each other. I knew very little about tea (especially tea that doesn’t come in a bag) and came away with a new appreciation for what makes a good tea. The class was fun, enjoyable and would highly recommend it.

Denise is very friendly and easy to talk with, making a private experience very comfortable. Knowledgable and passionate about tea, but also flexible to follow the guest mood. i was all time asking questions, so she went with the flow, instead of follow as per planned. I loved it, if I come back to Taipei, I would book it again.
