From the moment we arrived at our charming villa in Venice, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts who shared their passion for Italian cuisine and culture. The cooking classes were not only informative but also hands-on, allowing us to learn the art of making traditional dishes like Risotto all'Italiana and Tiramisù with expert guidance. The ingredients were fresh and local, enhancing the authenticity of each dish we prepared. The overall experience was both educational and immersive, leaving us with lasting memories and a newfound appreciation for Italian gastronomy.
The accommodations were very lovely. The setting is just beautiful and we were so content that we never left the property. The restaurant food was superior; the service was excellent. The cookery class was beyond expectations - we learned so very much about cooking methods, food choice and preparation. Chef Zamboni is a wealth of knowledge and passionate about Italian cuisine. He is an excellent instructor.
It's been nearly a year since we traveled to Italy and we still tell everyone that Maria's Cookery Class was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Gianluca gave us a warm welcome and was quick to respond to any queries we had. Annalisa made sure we understood every step. It was a relaxed and fun experience cooking in a very beautiful location. You will get to make a number of dishes and recipes to take home.We highly recommend putting this on your holiday agenda.
Remarkable location, very quite, wide open fields, but still very green surrounded by trees and a beautiful garden. Very kind, welcoming staff, understanding to the needs of our family (with 2 small kids, vegetarian meal for a few members,...). The cooking class was truly delightful, with many different dishes prepared in an easy and comprehensive way. It was also very family friendly for kids to participate in as well(they truly adored making the cookies and helping with the ravioli!). The meal was excellent and the birthday tiramisu with candles for my five year old son was a nice surprise! Definitely unforgettable!
This was a great excursion from Venice for an authentic Italian experience. Gianluca was hospitable and helpful, and Maria's class made cooking from scratch easy and delicious. We were welcome to stay after our feast for a swim in the pool at this beautiful old Italian estate. The whole experience made for a fun adventure.
While visiting Venice, my husband and I decided that it would be so much fun to take a cooking class. The class took place in the commercial kitchen at Tenuta Castel Venezze. Nearby the class, the grounds were dreamy. Gianluca picked us up and drove us to the class. Gianluca was great! He translated for us in the kitchen and helped us navigate the trains on our way there and back. We shared a great conversation with him. The class was amazing! Maria was so sweet! All of the food was delicious and simple enough for us to make at home. Gianluca also e-mailed us the recipes we prepared during our class and took photos for us while we cooked. You will be making so much food at this class! We made the chocolate cake with pears for dessert (which was delicious), but also could make tiramisu!
This class was a gift for my 16 year old daughter! The staff made it such an enjoyable experience. It is worth it!!
