Bapak Wayan, our local fisherman from Bug-Bug village, will help you aboard his traditional style jukung-out-rigger sailing boat and join the rest of the fishing fleet, in the crystal clear waters around the small islands just off of Pasir Putih beach. But its not only about catching fish, the view back to Mount Agung over the ocean is just as spectacular as the colourful display set by the sails of the boats.

We enjoyed a very informative cooking class at Bali Asli. The chef explained us in detail for what the Balinese fruits and spices are used for cooking and healing. We were lucky because we were only two people registered for the class, so the chef had time to answer all our questions and to explain everything in detail. After the "theoretical" part, we used all these fruits and spices for preparing a delicious meal. Each of us had their own bowls and pans so that we could try out everything on our own. We received all the recipes so that we can cook the meal also at home. Among others, we prepared Nasi Goreng, Satay (with fish), a Balinese salad, Bumbu (typical Balinese sauce), etc. Afterwards, we enjoyed the meal that we cooked in the nice restaurant. In the end, we received a certificate and an apron as a souvenir. All in all, we can highly recommend taking a cooking class at Bali Asli. It is really worth the money, considered what you get for!
