On this off-the-beaten-path experience you will learn a whole deal about Mexican food, history, culture and traditions with a seasoned tour guide and food writer while you learn to navigate the subway system, and Mexico's unbelievable markets.
We'll also eat some of the most iconic Mexican street and market food. We’ll start with a cup of coffee and a delicious piece of artisanal pastry, followed by a tasty huarache at the restaurant that created them.
After that, we’ll explore Jamaica Market, one of the largest and most beautiful markets in the city. There, we’ll try the best chorizo in Mexico, and we'll end up with surprise gourmet dish at the best seafood restaurant in the city seated at the chef's table, a true hidden culinary gem.
We’ll walk through long aisles of flowers, floral arrangements and plants, beautiful produce, piñatas, candied fruit, and pottery. Prepare to fill your senses with this unforgettable experience.
