I'm a professional pastry chef who's loved cooking since I was young. As a born-and-raised Neapolitan, I can say that cooking holds a special place in the heart of everyone in our city. We're born with a love for food and it shows in our culture and passions in life.
To start our day together, we'll first meet at the Piazza San Salvatore in Lauro, which dates from the 16th century and has a magnificent view of the Castel Sant'Angelo.
Next, we'll head to my apartment nearby. I'll welcome you into my cozy and well-equipped kitchen, where I'll teach you how to prepare an authentic and tasty tomato sauce for gnocchi, as well as the delicious gorgonzola cheese sauce. Then, we'll peel and smash the potatoes, add flour, and make the gnocchi by hand. I believe hands-on cooking is the best way to learn!
Once we finish cooking, we'll sit down to eat and savor our gnocchi together. I'm excited to meet and share my passion for homemade Italian dishes with you. Get ready to make the perfect handmade Italian gnocchi at home!
