This is the core value of our cooking class offering a truly local experience while leaving Capri’s glamour behind for a few hours. While enjoying the raw side of the island you will prepare three traditional pasta dishes with their traditional sauces. Led by a “Caprese” and her Neapolitan partner, the hands on cooking class is accompanied with regional natural wines. Two things that together make you stronger and wiser.
Just after the arranged pick up, the experience begins with a photographic viewpoint looking at the Amalfi Coast, situated just a few steps away from our home. Upon arrival at the final destination, waiting for you will be a refreshing aperitivo made of locally sourced products.
The approach is “easy from scratch”.
This class is designed to give you the basic knowledge and techniques to manipulate different doughs for the different types of pasta. We will make classic, stuffed, and mixed pasta dough recipes. You will learn how to choose the right flour, the additional ingredients that work with different doughs and how to make the sauces for different types of pasta. After this class you will be able to use your own creativity to make your very own pasta at home using the greatest tool of all time: Your wonderful hands. We only use locally sourced products to create our dishes, ensuring quality and authentic flavors the basic of the mediterranean diet. To end the meal on a sweet note, we will offer you a slice, or two, of local dessert.
The wine pairing is the result of a meticulous selection of regional wine producers, the outcome of ancient processes adopted by contemporary artisans who are passionate and respectful of their land and what grows on it.
The class is designed in a way that is easy to replicate, ensuring that you will be able to gladly show off to your guests your newly acquired pasta skills and entrain them with a few legends of the island.
We will end our time together enjoying your creations on our terrace and the class will end with plenty of smiles and a giveaway to keep us always in your heart.
Tasting of locally sourced artisanal cheese: Caciotta Sorrentina, organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and my mothers organic vinegar made from Piedirosso grapes. Paired with a glass of regional natural wine.

Handmade Ravioli stuffed with Caciotta Sorrentina, eggs and marjoram herb with organic Piennolo tomato sauce.
Potato gnocchi with pomodoro del Piennolo sauce.
Tagliatelle with basil and lemon sauce.
Paired with a glass of regional natural red wine.
Traditional dessert of the day, paired with a local after dinner liqueur.
6:00 PM: Pick up at the meeting point.
6:30 PM: Arrive at home and welcome Aperitivo
