About

Join our cooking class in Marrakesh and enjoy a unique cooking experience. This 4 hours cooking class will not only improve your cooking skills but also will teach you more about Moroccan culinary traditions, culture, and history. After meeting at our meeting point, we will have a short tour of a local market near our house to buy vegetables and all the other ingredients we will need to cook.

Then we go to our house, where we first teach you how to make fresh mint tea and have it together while we get to know each other. Next, we start cooking the dish that takes the most time to cook because we will put it on fire while making other dishes. We will all work together as one team to make different dishes, and this helps you learn more than just one specific dish.

We will normally be making different tagines. It could be with veggies, chicken, beef, or meatballs. We also make couscous at our workshop, but it would be better if you had specified that before the cooking class. We will have a tea break in between, and we might go to the rooftop of our house to have a panoramic view over the medina and to see the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. We share recipes after class as a document for the dishes we made and many other dishes. Kids are allowed in our cooking class.

"Amazing experience"

This class was a really interesting experience. Hasan was really nice and showed us which vegetables to choose in the market. Also during the lesson all the instructions were very clear and environment was really chill and fun. All the dishes were incredible by the end and we had a really fun time!

The cooking class with Ahmed and Hassan was mega fun. We cooked different tajine, a warm salad and now know how to make the perfect moroccan tea :-) We especially liked shopping in the souk. Highly recommended!

First off, I would like to thank you guys for an impeccable experience. After eating tagine for a few days in Marrakesh, we were happy to try to make our own. It was so worth it! I am travelling with my mother through Morocco for the first time and we decided to take a cooking class. We ended up picking this class because it had a fantastic price and we met them right in the medina (market). This was the first real introduction to the local culture. The guys not only showed us how to cook traditional meals. They also told us about the culture and showed us some traditional architecture from the rooftop. After we finished the class, they sent us the recipes per email and wished us a good time on the rest of our trip. You are so nice <3 We couldn't possibly be happier with the experience.
