What to Expect

A truly immersive gastronomic experience where every moment celebrates the local flavors and culture of Portugal! Our adventure begins with a visit to the Algés market, where we explore the fresh aromas and vibrant colors of seasonal produce—fruits, vegetables, fish, and seafood—while learning about the ingredients that will bring our menu to life. Guided by our Chef, we carefully select the freshest and highest-quality products for our culinary experience, making each choice with love and respect for our culinary heritage.

Back in our kitchen, we come together for a cooking class that dives into traditional techniques and culinary secrets passed down through generations. As we chop, mix, and season, we share stories and laughter, creating lasting memories. Every dish we prepare is a tribute to the fresh ingredients and rich culinary traditions of Portugal, offering a sensory journey to the heart of the local culture.

Once the cooking class concludes and our meal is ready, we gather around the table to savor our creations. Each bite provides a deep connection to the land and sea, capturing the essence of our journey from market to table.

More than just a culinary experience, this is a celebration of our love for food, traditions, and sharing special moments around the table.

Menu

The menu depends on seasonal products from the local market. The menu shown is merely an example.

Starter

• Bulhão Pato Mussels: Fresh mussels sautéed in fragrant garlic, olive oil, and white wine sauce, finished with a touch of lemon and fresh cilantro. A classic Portuguese starter.

Main Course

• Fish and Seafood Cataplana: A traditional Algarve dish featuring a medley of fresh fish and seafood, simmered in a rich tomato, garlic, and herb broth, served in a copper cataplana vessel.

Dessert

• Portuguese Orange Roll: A moist and citrusy orange sponge cake rolled with a sweet and tangy orange syrup, offering a burst of fresh flavor in every bite.

• This is an exclusive class focused on fish and seafood. Guests with dietary restrictions should notify us at least 72 hours before the start of the reserved class.
• The menu can also be adapted for vegetarians with a minimum of 72 hours notice.
• Not suitable for: Wheelchair users; Vegans or People with food allergies; Children under 8 years.
