Guests say the experience feels relaxed and welcoming, with everyone actively chopping, preparing fillings, and assembling traditional dishes. The hands‑on format makes cooking feel like a friendly gathering rather than a formal class, and participants leave with a deeper understanding of local food traditions. Sharing the meal they created together adds a memorable, communal finish to the authentic culinary adventure.
Experience Chile through one of the best ways to discover its culture: cooking and sharing a meal with locals.
We’ll meet near Baquedano Metro and travel together to our chef’s apartment, where the cooking experience takes place in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Once there, we’ll introduce the menu, prepare a traditional Chilean aperitif and drink, and start cooking together.
Throughout the class, you’ll take part in the whole process: chopping ingredients, preparing doughs and fillings when needed, slow-cooking traditional recipes, assembling the dishes and getting everything ready for the oven.
At the end, we’ll set the table and enjoy everything we prepared together. More than a formal cooking class, we want this to feel like cooking and having lunch or dinner with local friends while discovering Chilean food, flavors and traditions.
Note: Other seasonal Chilean recipes may be included depending on the selected menu.
