What to Expect

Singaporean cuisine is influenced by many traditions: Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, Indian, Southeast Asian, amongst others. And all of this comes together in this vegetarian cooking class!

Over 3 hours, we'll explore the food and culture of Singapore while we cook a seasonal menu that can change daily. Below you'll find a sample menu. After we're done cooking, feel free to stay around and eat your creations. You can also take your food away (with your own containers).

Menu

The menu will depend on the day of the booking. Sample Menu:

• Nasi Goreng
• Sayur Lodeh (Coconut curry with garden vegetables & crispy tofu)
• Sambal Goreng Tempeh (Sweet & spicy fried tempeh)
• Sambal eggplant (Grilled eggplant in slow-cooked, spicy tomato sauce)
• Sayur lodeh (Indonesian coconut curry with garden vegetables & tofu)
• Singapore-style mee goreng (Stir-fried noodles in a spicy sauce)
• Savoury stuffed crepe, crispy vegetables, and spicy dipping sauce
• Curried quinoa, balsamic-roasted cauliflower, and lentils
• “Cheesy” grilled polenta, rocket, and slow-roasted tomatoes

Saturdays

• 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM 

The duration of the session is for 3 hours with the option to stay and eat or take the food away.
