We'll walk and explore three of México City's iconic food markets.
After taking the metro at meeting point, we'll walk through the aisles of La Merced Market. Mexican breakfast & Fruit tasting included —blue corn quesadillas with or without cheese, pambazos, tlacoyos, or other antojitos— You'll have the opportunity to buy fruits, vegetables, spices & more.
Then, at Sonora Market, we'll venture into the aisles dedicated to medicinal plants, magical items, and various other items that demonstrate the syncretism of beliefs and practices that exist in México. During the walk, I'm gonna tell you stories of the market, the city, and Mexican traditions.
For the end, we'll take the metrobus and visit San Juan Market, which specializes in gourmet and exotic foods where you can grab an exotic snack or sea food. We'll taste grasshopper, orange with worm salt and the special beverage.
