What to Expect

This trip is specially designed for those who would like to experience the Vietnamese culture and the authentic & contemporary taste of Vietnamese food. Join us for a Gourmet Trip, you will experience the Vietnam local market to purchase your ingredients, then enjoy a hands-on cooking class.

Local Market visit (8:00 am- 8:40 am)

Explore the colorful and vibrant market with our Vietnamese Chef to purchase the necessary ingredients for the cooking lesson. Then, our Chef will bring you back by taxi to the class venue.

Hands-on cooking class (9:00 am-12:00 pm)

The kitchenware is ready. Participants cook, then enjoy the delicious Vietnamese meal. MSG is prohibited in our recipe. So, don’t worry! The seasonal dessert is our sweet treat to complete the cooking journey. We will also give you all the detailed recipes at the end of the class, it would not only help you to concentrate and enjoy the cooking experience, but you also could re-make the food at home.

We could adapt the menu to vegetarians or people with allergies, please let us know when booking in advance so we can accommodate you.

Schedule

7:50 AM – Meet with your chef at the main gate of Tân Định Market.
9:00 AM – Return to the cooking class and begin cooking.
12:00 PM – End of the cooking class.

- Meet the chef at 7:50am in the main gate of Tân Định market at 336 Hai Bà Trưng Street, District 1. The chef will wear black chef uniform so you can't miss her. Please don't be late as the group will leave at 7:55am .

Half- day gourmet trip with his tic cooking class

This was an excellent experience from the your of the market to the cooking experience snd the eating of the wonderful food that we had prepared. Me was well organized, patient and humerous. If we were staying longer in Saigon, we would do another class with her. Definitely worthwhile

Amazing cooking class

joined this cooking class and it was an unforgettable experience! I learned how to use knives properly and discovered so many delicious Vietnamese dishes. The chef and Van, the amazing assistant chef, were absolutely fantastic — so kind, patient, and always ready to share their tips. I had so much fun and learned a lot. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves cooking or wants to explore new flavors!

Good overall class

A little rushed at the market but my fault for buying a few things as we went !! The cooking was well structured and the dishes satisfying. We were all hands-on and ate the output as we cooked it.

Very well instructed cooking course

The visit at the market was very interesting. We learned a lot about different typs of vegetables. An add on was also that the market is not touristic. This gives you time to see everything. In the cooking class itself, we learned three types of dishes (summer rolls, banana blossom salad and stir-fried glass noodles with seafood). The class was good instructed and the food was really delicious.
