Silom Thai Cooking School is where Thai cooking and culture come together. The sounds, sights, smells and tastes found in the typical Thai market are emblematic of everyday life in Thailand and shape the contours of Thai cuisine.

To fully understand and appreciate Thai cuisine, Silom Thai Cooking School takes you on a guided market tour for you to observe how Thai people handle and buy various raw ingredients before preparing them in the kitchen. You will then be brought back to the school to practice traditional Thai cooking methods in a hands-on cooking class.

For the afternoon and evening session, you will join our Thai cooking class and tour of our Herb mini-garden—home to a variety of unique potted herbs used to create the distinctive taste of Thai cuisine.

" Relaxed and easy cooking class. You will get the chance to prepare each dish, cook, and then taste. Good for those of you who get hungry while you cook! "

What to know: Book in advance because the classes fill up quickly.
What I liked: I took the class in the Silom Thai Cooking School house so the decor was lovely. The house was decorated with retro Thai objects. The school was very comfortable and it made cooking a leisurely activity.
Good for: Those looking for a soft introduction to Thai cooking.
Best way to get there: Chongnonsri BTS and then a short motorbike ride that will cost you 20 baht to get to Silom Soi 11 (where you meet your chef for the market tour).

An Amazing Thai Cooking Experience – Highly Recommended!

I had such a wonderful experience at this cooking school in Thailand! Everything was well organized, fun, and welcoming from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it easy for everyone to join in, no matter their cooking experience. We used fresh, high-quality ingredients and learned how to prepare authentic Thai dishes step by step. The instructors were kind, patient, and made the whole class both enjoyable and educational. The best part was, of course, the food. Every dish we made tasted absolutely amazing! It was such a rewarding experience to cook authentic Thai food and then enjoy it together. I highly recommend this cooking school to anyone visiting Thailand. It was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would happily do it again. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
