Back in the kitchen, you’ll work with fresh, cultivated mushrooms sourced from a trusted local grower as you prepare a delicious meal together as a group.

- Mushroom Soup: savory soup using a blend of Cremini, Portobello and potato. We focus on the technical preparation—cleaning and slow-cooking the mushrooms to develop a deep, earthy base and paired with Barbera d'Asti
- Sautéed Mushroom & Seasonal Vegetable Orzo: A hands-on lesson in sautéing Porcini, Pleurotus, Cornucopia, and Pioppino finishing the dish with fresh-harvested garden vegetables and aromatics.
- Hazelnut Cake: A classic cake made with local hazelnuts paired with Moscato d'Asti

- The instructor will pick you up at Villafranca-Cantarana station and drive you to the farm.

Pickup Option
The farmhouse is located in Maretto, just 10 minutes from Villafranca-Cantarana train station. A scheduled pick-up and drop-off service is provided for all guests.
Note:
The station is served by hourly regional trains on the line connecting Torino Porta Susa (45 minutes) and Asti (15 minutes).
Pick-Up & Departure:

Arrival: I will meet you at Villafranca-Cantarana station and drive you to the farm. Pick-up is coordinated with the morning train arrivals, typically around 10:00 AM.

Departure: After the meal, I will drive you back to the station in time for the return hourly trains, usually around 3:00 PM.

Ample parking is available at the farmhouse. GPS coordinates will be provided upon booking.
