What an unforgettable experience! We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday with Francesca at her beautiful home just outside Palermo, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Francesca welcomed us like family and shared wonderful stories about her life, her family traditions, and the history behind the dishes we prepared together. The experience felt authentic, personal, and filled with warmth from start to finish. We learned how to make three incredible pastas from scratch, each with its own unique flavors and techniques. Francesca was patient, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel involved, whether they were experienced cooks or complete beginners. Sitting down afterward to enjoy the meal we created together was truly special. If you’re looking for more than just a cooking class, this is it. It’s an opportunity to connect with Sicilian culture, hear meaningful family stories, and create lasting memories around a table filled with amazing food. Celebrating my mom’s milestone birthday here made the day even more meaningful. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and memories our family will cherish forever. Highly recommend!

Cooking with Francesca was my husband’s favorite part of our trip to Sicily. Francesca is a skilled chef who is knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We shared stories of family and cooking. The meal was delicious and Francesca shared many recipes with us in addition to what we prepared. Highly recommend this experience!

Francesca was so prepared with a great class! A highlight of our trip! Homemade pasta, tiramisu, and delicious sauces. Would highly recommend this class! So welcoming and a fabulous teacher!

All I can say is take this class!!! Francesca is an unbelievable chef and it was like being cooking with a family member. The pasta and sauces and tiramisu were amazing!!!! And I'm a very fussy eater. I can't wait to go back home to the states and make this for my family.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Francesca‘s and would 100% recommend booking a cooking experience with her. She is a very warm and welcoming person who has a lot of experiences to learn from. The dishes were instructed very well and ended up being sooo delicious! We‘ll definitely come back when we visit Palermo again. ❤️

This was such a fantastic experience everyone should try this when they go to Palermo! Francesca has such a great kitchen and an even better energy. The class itself was a massive learning experience for me, and the food was incredible. Francesca makes it easy for all levels of ability, so don’t feel scared if you can’t cook at all! Francesca makes sure everyone is included. She has lots of experience and great wisdom and knowledge of cooking and Sicily in general. The train there is easy from Palermo, a little walk from the station but that’s fine. I shared a cab back that Francesca booked. Overall this is one of the best things I’ve done! Francesca is a fascinating person and I’ll remember this for a long time.

Francesca made me feel right at home, felt like cooking with friends. Great tips and recipes and even though I am not a good cook the food came out delicious! Would definitely recommend. Francesca’s house is outside of Palermo so book transport beforehand.
