We pick you up at your hotel, and go to La Boquilla beach, in the north of the city, to make an outdoor practical cooking class, and prepare different recipes from the Caribbean cuisine of Colombia.
First, you learn to prepare a delicious Mojito, and then how to make a traditional Cartagena shrimp ceviche. We also prepare the typical patacones (fried plantain slices) and a salad with passion fruit vinaigrette as an accompaniment.
The highlight is the fresh seafood: squid, clams, mussels, shrimp and prawns, which you use to cook or a seafood casserole with coconut milk, or a seafood rice, whichever you decide.
Finally, after having lunch and a coffee, we take you back to your hotel.
The whole class is guided by a professional, but you are the real chef. In addition, you will be in a quiet place, away from crowds, and with all the amenities for the activity.
