There is an incredible culinary richness in the sliver of Southern Spain that sits between the Guadalquivir River and the Atlantic Ocean. In this small zone, we find everything from Iberian pigs and truffles to the famous Huelva shrimp and the tuna caught in the celebrated almadraba. 

In this culinary journey you will learn to cook some of the most famous dishes from Sevilla, Cádiz and Huelva. These are dishes that have humble origins, like the gazpacho, but have become world-famous because they are so simply delicious. Bring the history and traditions of Andalucía to life in this hands-on cooking class, where you’ll learn the tricks that are practiced in real Andalusian homes and restaurants. If you want to take away a primer on the cuisine of the local culture, this is the class for you. The class includes:

• Bilingual instruction with the local chefs
• Aperitif & digestif
• Hands-on preparation of Andalusian dishes with top-quality produce

Each Andalucía Cooking Class ends with a delicious lunch and carefully chosen wine pairings. You will gather around our hand-made copper tile table to enjoy what you and your fellow classmates have created using your newly acquired techniques.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed due to safety reasons.

Please be informed that our chefs adapt the menu for each class according to the market offer and the dietary requirements of the participants. This is only a sample menu:

• Gazpacho: chilled tomato-cucumber soup
• Langostino de Sanlucar y Tuétano de Retinto: sanlucar langoustine with retinto beef marrow
• Cola de Toro Retinto con Polenta de Payoyo: retinto oxtail with Andalusian payoyo cheese polenta
• Tocino de Cielo con Helado de Coco y Piñones: egg yolk flan with coconut ice cream
