Together we'll prepare and enjoy a typical Catania lunch in complete serenity in the atmosphere of my kitchen overlooking the port of Catania!

We will decide together which pasta dish to prepare according to the seasons, market availability and your dietary need. Since this is a shorter experience designed for guests who want to have a “taste” of how we prepare a meal here in Catania. You will find some of the ingredients already made and we will complete the dish together. After that, we will focus on the dessert.

However, I will make sure that we will start with local aperitif. Nothing works with an empty belly.

Discover the cuisine and history of Sicily while relaxing and chatting in Mariella's home in the centre of Catania!

Mariella, nos dio una clase excepcional de cocina siciliana, nos enseñó cómo preparar pasta a la Norma y Tiramisú. Celebramos el cumpleaños de mi hija y fue una ocasión especial. Mariella y Gino nos hicieron sentir en casa desde el momento en que llegamos. La atención al detalle hizo la diferencia. Aprendimos mucho de las costumbres sicilianas y no queríamos que se acabara. Le tenia velas para cantar cumpleaños a mi hija. Sin ninguna una de las mejoras experiencias del viaje. Si tiene la oportunidad tomen la experiencia de cocina con Mariella, será el punto alto de su viaje.

During our trip to Sicily we enjoyed a fantastic afternoon, cooking at Mariella’s lovely home. Mariella and Masumi welcomed us warmly and taught us how to make traditional dishes.
