We now provide more varieties of dishes. Thai cooking will be very simple and taught in very easy steps so it would be easier for you to cook yourselves at home. Here at Phuket Thai Cooking you are offered a “Hand-on” Cooking Course of Thai Traditional dishes in an ideal homestyle learning environment that is different from most of the hotels and restaurants in Phuket Thailand.

Followed by a fun and enjoyable hour preparing Thai meal in a friendly environment. Cook and then feast together. Programma

10:30-10:50 am: Pickup at your hotel lobby
11:00 am: Local Market tour with fruit tasting (walking you through the authentic lifestyle and buying fresh ingredients to be used to cook at the class and fruit tasting).
11:45 am: Arriving at our class, will be served with water, tea or coffee. Get to know each other participants, relax, take pictures.
12:00 pm: Introduction to ingredients and learning how to cook, at the same time enjoy what you have cooked
2:15 pm: End of class.

For guests within the pick-up area, we will meet you in your hotel lobby at the agreed time. If you are arriving on your own, please ensure you are at the class by 10:40 AM at the latest.

Free round-trip transfer is available from Kata, Kata Noi, and Karon. Free round-trip transfer is also offered from Patong, Rawai, and Naiharn (with a minimum of 2 people). For Kamala Beach and Surin Beach, we will confirm a free pick-up point in Patong (a minimum of 2 people is required).

Tip: When using taxi apps in Thailand, avoid entering the location’s address as it may not work well. Instead, type the name of the place. For example, to reach the class, simply type "Phuket Thai Cooking Class by Chef VJ," and the app will display our correct location. Please provide the exact meeting point location if it is different from the cooking school address.

"Really good fun and informative"

VJ was a great host and explained everything really well. She provided lots of information on the ingredients and all the tips and tricks. Her kitchen was modern and super clean. We made red & green curry's as well as a stir-fry and dessert. Really good fun and the class was just 6 people.

"Klasse Kochkurs mit Marktbesuch"

Der Kochkurs mit VJ war super! Wir zwei haben mit einer Familie aus London teilgenommen. Wir haben 4 Gerichte gekocht, einige der Zutaten haben wir vorher auf dem Markt gekauft. VJ hat Thailändische Lebensmittel gezeigt, bei einigen auch europäische Ersatzmöglichkeiten genannt. Die Küche war supersauber, VJ und ihre Kolleginnen standen unaufdringlich mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Jetzt kochen wir in Deutschland nach!

"Cooking Class was a Blast!"

I am not much of a cook myself, but VJ’s class was so much fun. From starting at the market to doing the preparation and cooking, VJ provided just the right amount of detail and instruction and also free time for enjoying our meals and socializing. The curry we made was INCREDIBLE as well as all of the other food as well. It was awesome to learn about all the different ingredients at the market and then learn how to use them in authentic Thai cooking. Highly recommend to anyone in the Phuket area! Prior cooking experience not required.

"Amazing cooking class"

We had an amazing morning! First we went to the market and we got some really good tips and explanation about the most common herbs, vegetables, meat & fish in Thai cuisine. Then we went to the cooking school and we got the chance to prepare 4 dishes by ourselves. Really nice, learned a lot and all the ladies at the cooking school were really friendly and helpful, definitely recommend!
