We had this cooking experience with Jomin who was a formidable host. I will definitely book it again (with different dishes of course) next time. Very professional and courteous… highly recommended

It was nice to have a short market tour before the class. Cooking was for all levels and very useful for us. It was a nice place with a good instructor.

We loved making the different kinds of kimchi and learning about how all the ingredients come together. The market tour allowed us to ask a lot of questions about Korean food and ingredients. Jomin was a wonderful teacher and the class was very hands on. The kimchi we made was delicious!

Small friendly class and we'll set up and organised, from our visit to the market (where I also learnt so much about the street food, helpful for the rest of my trip!) to the step by step kimchi making in the teacher's well equipped kitchen. And we got to taste everything afterwards along with some delicious extras, and take kimchi home! Definitely win-win.

Excellent market tour! We made kimchee stew, japchae, and spicy pork. All 3 were fantastic. What a lunch! My teenage kids enjoyed the class.

Chef Jomin Jun is very nice! You can tell she knows a lot about Korean cuisine. She makes you feel at ease and she is a very good communicator

Not only did I get to make and eat amazing food but I got to meet some new friends. The class was quite delightful. I wish the teacher much success. Her class was so much fun I wish I knew about it sooner so I could have done more classes.

We really enjoyed making the tofu. It was very hands on, we got a cookbook full of other Korean recipes and honestly it was one of our best meals in Seoul! Loved it!

The experience was very enjoyable. There were only two of us scheduled that lunch so we had the pleasure of getting all of Jomin’s attention. The market tour was really informative and gave us confidence in identifying the ingredients for when we try the recipes at home. The class was easy to follow and Jomin was really hands-on. We got to eat our own kimchi with the delicious meal Jomin prepared for us. We got to take home the left-overs and our family loved the kimchi we made! We’ll definitely try the other cooking classes next time. :)

Our instructor was very helpful and engaging. She made the cooking experience fun and exciting. We felt so comfortable in her house as she was also very hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will do more classes with her.

I had a great experience with Jomin's kimchi class. The market tour was helpful to point out a few things that I hadn't spotted while I had strolled through other markets previously. I ended up in a class by myself, which was nice - we got to chat about travel and cooking along with the instruction. Jomin had good communication with me before the class and followed up with a few photos afterward. The recipe book was a perfect takeaway and contained a few more of my favorite dishes to cook at home. Most of all, my kimchi made it back to the US and had good reviews from family :)

Jomin meets you at the metro station and first takes you to the local market to buy fresh meat to cook with before walking to her apartment-based cooking studio. She was friendly and professional and made it incredibly easy to cook delicious Korean dishes from scratch. You also receive a recipe booklet to help you re-create what you've learnt when you get home. I had a great time cooking with Jomin - she is fun and interesting to talk to and it was very easy to communicate in English. She was also full of great suggestions of interesting things to do while in Korea. We tasted what we made as we went along and there was tons left over to eat as take out that evening. Recommended as a fun and authentic taste of Korean life and cookery

We enjoyed a lovely morning visiting the local market and then cooking some very tasty dishes. We recommend this class to anyone who loves Korean food and is visiting Seoul.

Jomin was an amazing host! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the marketplace and picked up fresh ingredients for our recipes. My wife and I completely enjoyed this experience and the food was amazing! Jomin’s English and of course Korean are impeccable and my wife and I both spoke with her fluently. It was a memorable evening and we thank Jomin for the opportunity. Highly recommend!

Loved the class! Kirin was very friendly and so well prepared. It was a fun class where we got to make three delicious dishes (and then eat them!) from scratch (all ingredients are included). altogether wonderful!!

I wanted to experience authentic cooking that I could repeat at home; This was great - Jomin showed us ingredients in the market and ones we could buy to take home. The class was really practical for any level, the recipes are simple to follow. The Kimchi we made tasted great! My family want me to make it when I get back!

Jomin Jun picked us up at the subway station and took us on a tour to the local market, which was really fun! She showed us lots of local food and ingredients and even helped us taste and buy some. After that we enjoyed a very good and very personal cooking class. Everything was well prepared and she was a very good tutor. Explaining it all but letting us do it by ourselves. I can highly recommend it.

I learn, as most if us do, by doing. And it was nice to make and enjoy these three dishes. I especially enjoyed the market tour. It was so informative.

The teacher Jomin was Great! She taught me How to cook some of my favorite korean dishes, and also told me about their origin. She answered all my questions really Well, her english is Great. It was a Very lovely experience, and Jomin is a Very interesting and kind woman.

Nice homestay cooking with a formidable Host! The walk around the market was insightful and the recipes were very good Overall we enjoyed the experience and definitly would come back a second time.
