I was alone with the cook. Unbelivable, that he made the cooking expirience alone with me. Thanks a lot!!!
We were hosted at Arkamara Dijiwa Resort during 5 days and we were amazed every time by the tasty meals we had there, therefore I decided to take a cooking class and learn how they achieve such a tasting food. The cooking class was from the beginning amazing. The chef, Wis, explained me all the steps with great detail and answered all my questions. Through his explanations I discovered a couple of tricks on how to achieve such amazing flavors. The result: spectacular. Cannot be described in words. You have to taste it by yourself. He also showed me and my girlfriend the orchard they have at the back of the hotel where they grow some of the vegetables they use in their dishes. Those vegetables were grown without the use of pesticides, something that we really appreciate. Summarizing: great experience and great chef and person. If you don’t do this class, you will miss a bit of the Balinese culture. Therima kasih Wis and team :)
This restaurant is so wonderful! We ate every meal here. Everything is very fresh, well prepared and beautifully plated. We even took a cooking class, learned to make traditional Balinese food - really fantastic experience. Yanik and all the staff and the chefs are the absolute best, so kind and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Ubud. We will be back one day!
