We had Lisa for our market tour and she was sooo fun and friendly! Our market tour was truly one of the highlights of our whole trip- definitely recommend doing this in addition to your cooking class. I would recommend doing this towards the beginning of your trip because you will want to go back to the market! The cooking class was fun and engaging and the food was delicious! We had Alessandro as our chef and he was great. We can't wait to try all of the foods again at home! We liked that Mama Florence is a little outside of the city center and would definitely go back!

Our family (two parents and three kids ages 11-14) had a blast at Mama Florence! Making pasta together was so fun, we learned some really useful cooking tips, and the food was amazing! Roberto was a great teacher, he had a great sense of humor and made it so fun for all of us! Highly recommend

Learned a lot, had wonderful conversation with new people and ate great food we made! Would recommend for anyone visiting Florence.

Chef Matteo was very informative! Both people we met at Mama Florence were full of laughter and information. The group was nice and small, so we were able to ask many questions because enjoying our food. We folded our own pasta, created it, then sat down to enjoy the meal. 10/10 would recommend and go again!

We had a fantastic morning, perusing the market, and a beautiful walk across the river to then arrive at the kitchen to observe the chef cook three delicious courses and try our hand at making fresh pasta. The whole experience was warm and friendly, educational and delicious.

We have been wanting to learn how to make pasta for a long time and we could not have asked for a better experience!

Very informative, very tasty & most of all fun! Luiza & Filippo were marvellous, easy to listen to & fun to be with. What a delight to have the art of pasta making expertly explained by chef Stefano and his friendly kitchen assistant in a lovely well equipped kitchen space . The style of teaching is warm , informative and encouraging . All the ingrediency were wonderfully fresh and the reason for using them ,how they worked together was fully explained. This gave an extra insight Italian cookery . We helped with preparation of the sauces and pasta fillings. Stefano gave a demonstration of pasta making and then it was our turn ( seven in our group). I think our pasta turned out very well with the guidance from chef . To end the course we all sat down to eat together. The four course menu included our pasta . It was a lovely way end the course , socialising and enjoying the fruits of our labour .

We had the best experience learning all the foods of Florence. It was delicious thanks to our great teacher. We learned so much and we were able to duplicate the meal at home in the states. Just enjoyable and memorable.

We loved cooking at Mama Florence. We were in a small group class and enjoyed the other participants. Chef G and Patrizia were welcoming and friendly and in addition to the cooking skills, they made it a fun experience. We learned to make pasta from scratch to prepare homemade ravioli, as well as chicken, salad, and a wine infused panna cotta. We ate what we prepared, and all courses were paired w great Italian wine. Would definitely recommend Mama Florence. A highlight of our trip!!

This was a 8, if they allowed us to go past a 5. The class was terrific. Not difficult to follow and everyone in our family got to share the experience. Our 9 yr old granddaughter was thrilled. It was her first time making pasta from scratch. We’d recommend everyone visit mama’s when you visit Florence. And after you finish cooking, you get to eat everything. What fun!

We took a Pasta making class with Fillipo, it was a 4 hour evening class that ended with a sit-down dinner of our creation. It was a small group of 10 (seems like that is the max size). We learned how to create several types of filled pasta shapes and noodles. We also made a salad and 3 sauces (one to accommodate us as vegetarians). Overall a great experience, one of our favorite on the entire vacation.
