Thea, my guide was very helpful and knowledgeable on the food and the history of Hanoi. We went to lots of restaurants to try different foods and she gave me lots of information. I wish I hadn’t declined the pho/ noodle stop ( we were running out of time) but Thea gave me information on all the places we visited and I went back another day.

This was a great experience. Vy was so knowledgeable and kind and the food was delicious. We enjoyed chatting to Vy about life in Vietnam and her perspectives. We were totally full at the end and learnt new things that will help us with the rest of the trip. 🇻🇳💕

Angelina was an incredible tour guide. Not only did we get to try a LOT of vegan dishes from all different restaurants and stands, but she also taught us about the history of Hanoi. We visited a pagoda, went down alleyways to see how some Hanoians live, and had deep conversations about society and the similarities and differences between our country (Australia) and Vietnam. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about Hanoi and Vietnam, and you get to try amazing local food as a bonus!! If you're lucky, you'll get Angelina as your guide :)

If you want to try some new Vietnamese foods, or maybe you’re intimidated by the street side food stalls, or you want to learn more about Hanoi culture, then I recommend booking this tour. Dung was the best tour guide! We ate maybe 8 or so new foods/drinks at different shops, and she also told me a lot about the history of the area and how Hanoi people live! So insightful and very kind. I was alone and was a little worried about it being awkward or there being too much food, but Dung was so friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me gauge how much I should eat to make sure I could enjoy the tour fully ~ If you’re considering a food tour, then go for it!! I recommend bringing an umbrella, water, and hand sanitizer! My favorite was the fresh sugarcane juice after walking around in the heat!!

As someone who enjoys plant-based food, I was thrilled to explore the variety of vegan dishes that Hanoi has to offer. From delicious papaya salad, typical vietnamese breakfast, fruits, drinks. every dish was a delight. Our guide took us to hidden gems, places we would never have found on our own, and introduced us to the diverse flavors of Vietnamese vegan cuisine. Dung, our tour guide, was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. She shared the history of the old quarter with us as we walked to each restaurant. The food was amazing. At the end of the tour we were also given a link to an interactive canva poster with all the address links to the restaurants we ate at as well as other recommendations.

The tour with Kien and An was really nice. They showed us corners of the old town that we would probably never have seen alone. The choice of food was also great, and we went home full. We always learned a little bit about the history of each restaurant and the food, which we really liked. Kien and An are super personable and nice. We had a lot of fun together and would recommend the tour 100%.

During my food tour in Hanoi, Yen stood out as one of the best guides I've ever had. She was friendly and knowledgeable and introduced us to some unique dishes that I otherwise would not have tried. Even my mother, a picky eater, enjoyed the tour and was so impressed by one particular dish that we returned the next day to have it for dinner. Yen also provided us with a list of all the places we visited, along with the names of the dishes in both English and Vietnamese, which proved very helpful when we wanted to reorder. I highly recommend this tour to anyone in Hanoi who wants to explore local cuisine and have a great experience.
