Raja Bali Balinese Authentic Restaurant & Actvities

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking lesson with Adi and Kadek at Raja Bali. The visit to the Spice garden was very interesting and we learnt a great deal about all the ingredients in the dishes we cooked. The boys were very helpful. We made two different satays and a chicken stew plus a dessert. We sat in the garden and enjoyed eating what we had cooked (couldn't finish the dessert so brought it back to the hotel for later!) We would definitely recommend this class ... they even have transport provided within the Nusa Dua area which was lovely. Definitely give this a go .. you won't be disappointed!!

Excellent customer service from the time of pick up to the time we arrived home. The chef and manager were excellent and the food was absolutely amazing.

We were picked up from the hotel in a very comfortable car and driven to the class where we were greeted by the instructors and given a refreshing snack. The tour of the spice garden was very interesting and then the preparation of our meal was both good fun and really interesting. The food we cooked was delicious! I can highly recommend this cooking class.

My daughter and I really enjoyed the cooking class taken recently in Nusa Dua. We were picked up at our hotel and were driven to a beautiful serene area with open veranda with tables and manicured grounds. The 2 chefs firstly showed us the garden and explained the various herbs and spices. From there we went back to the kitchen and proceeded to make 5 dishes with the expert help of the chefs. We both really enjoyed the experience. The chefs were so helpful and informative and best if all we got to eat the dishes after. Nothing was rushed and we had great fun. Would recommend

We had the most incredible time with Chef during our private cooking class. It was just the two of us, which made the experience so personal and special. Chef was warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable — he explained each ingredient and step with such passion, giving us a true insight into Balinese culture and cuisine. Thank you!

I Thoroughly enjoyed my class at Raja Bali. It was a busy two hours I spent with chef. It was very hands on and he made me do all the measuring and cooking which was great. The recipes are easy to follow and I can make them at home. Transport was punctual and friendly. As I was the only person in my class I requested take away. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff.

Amazing experience. Our group of 8 had our own class. As soon as we arrived we were offered a cold towel, drink and lovely snack. The cooking experience was top notch as was the food. Definitely worth doing!

Beautiful premises, very clean, staff super friendly and cooking class was well taught and the chef and sous chef were very professional. Loved the menu choices…delicious!

It was so exciting to learn how to cook an original and authentic Indonesian/Balinesian meal under the direct supervision of an Indonesian Chef My husband and I learned so much and we will most definitely try all the recipes at home when we will be back in Europe - hoping that we can buy all these Asian/Indinesian ingredients that we will need. The entire team at Raja Bali made us feel so comfortable and gave us such a warm welcome. It was overwhelming. And the chef was very patient with us when we didn't do everything correctly at the first attempt :-) With the help of our chef Kutuk (hope I spell his name correctly) we finally managed to prepare a more than delicious, original Balinesian meal. We just loved it. All in all, this was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the entire team at Raja Bali who made this possible for us. Andrea, Dec 2024

We did the class in Bali, Nusa Dua. It's a beautiful setting.. Got picked up in the restaurant's van and dropped back to the hotel. The food was great, everyone got involved and we had an awesome meal at the end of it that was top class. Only took 2.5hrs or so, great afternoon. Recommended!

What a great "spur of the moment" decision to learn how to make and cook a Balinese meal...we had a busy time preparing our food under Ketut's careful instructions and it was delicious to eat. We are going to try and cook the foods again when we get back home. Thank you again Raja Bali Cooking School...we highly recommend it.

The class is in a very pleasant and peaceful setting. Chefs are friendly and helpful with good English. The meal was beautiful, especially taking into account that I helped cook it.

We spent a very enjoyable morning at the cooking class. The food we made was great. The cooking school was well organised and hospitable and very clean. I would recommend this class.

The class was well organised and well planned. The ingredients were fresh and laid out for us. In 2 hours we were supported to cook three different dishes and enjoy eating them. We would definitely recommend the experience.

Chef Ketut gave us clear instructions with lots of interesting information about the ingredients. Two hours were spent cooking then as long as we liked to enjoy our enormous feast in the beautiful restaurant garden. Just the two of us were in the class and received a certificate of completion, recipes and photos of the event. Return car transport we included. Excellent value.

Anna Endra and his assistant were fantastic as well as the restaurant staff. Ingredients were laid out and explained instructions and recipes clear cleanliness was.of a high standard and a noticeable standout is how with ease they catered for me being in a wheelchair. Loved our chef hats and aprons. The six of us had a wonderful time and made some delicious food.

We were so pleased to find a cooking class in Tanjung Benoa, saving us about 2 hours travel to the Ubud area. Cleanliness was outstanding and the food we ate was very nice. My sister has a seafood allergy and this was catered for with ease.

Took three generations of the family to this wonderful cookery class. Head chef Ketut and his assistants patiently taught us how to cook a multi course Balinese meal. It was perfectly paced, relaxing and great fun for everyone from teenage children to grandparent. We enjoyed eating the food after the lesson. They also took videos and photos during the lesson and shared them with us, including a video compilation to music. A great momento of our day. Highly recommended.

Such an enjoyable and memorable experience in a beautiful restaurant with lovely friendly staff, expert chef, spotless kitchen, plus the truly delicious dishes we created with our spice mixes. A really professional and welcoming team. Was great to have photos taken of us throughout to remember it by. We were not rushed at lunch either. Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed doing the cooking class to celebrate our anniversary. The class was very interactive and fun and very enjoyable to eat at the end.

We had the best time, our expectations were met. The staff were very professional in hygiene and knowledge of the herbs and spices. Made it a fun event and very personal as there were only the two off us participating. Then we got to enjoy what we had prepared and cooked, with a couple of glasses of our favourite Sauv Blanc in Bali. The serenity was perfect with the beautiful gardens, birds and music.

I would recommend this to all foodies. Well-organized and produced an absolutely scrumptious lunch. Catered for my friend who doesn’t eat chicken. A great way to spend a drizzly morning.
