Welcome to Da's Organic Farm Hut Thai Cooking School. You will enjoy an authentic local culinary experience in the suburban area of Chiang Mai, "Lanna" style. All ingredients are fresh, nutritious, and organic directly from the plant to be cooked and serve on your plate.

Choose your menu for one of each type of dishes. Vegetarian option is also available.

Curry Paste & Chicken Curry

Red curry paste & red curry with chicken
Green curry paste & green curry with chicken
Yellow curry paste & yellow curry with chicken

Soup:

Tom Kha Kai (chicken in coconut milk)
Tom Yam Kung (Thai hot, spicy and sour prawn)
Clear soup with egg, tofu and minced pork

Stir fried:

Stir fried chicken with cashew nut
Stir fried minced chicken with holy basil
Pad Thai (Thai fried noodles)

Dessert:

Pumpkin in coconut milk
Banana in coconut milk
Mango with sticky rice
Deep fried spring rolls

"Genuine cultural hit"

Da and his family were kind and welcoming and had an excellent knowledge of Chiang my past and present. Da's culinary skills were unquestionable and the food was supersonic!

"Tasty"

wonderful experience. He picked us up on time, right down to the minute. Not everything for the cooking class is bought at the market, so there is more time to explain and demonstrate. The cooking class then takes place at his home after a short tour of his garden. Da was always present and told stories without being intrusive. The spiciness of the food can be adjusted and the dishes are super tasty. There were two of us, and he said he had already given courses for one participant. Highly recommended to anyone who would like to have an authentic cooking class.

"Very nice and authentic cooking class."

We've enjoyed the experience a lot. Mister Da has picked us up from the hotel, brought us to the market and explained about the local groceries, and then we arrived at his farm where we could see how some of the local herbs grow. Mister Da guided us through every step of cooking a full lunch and answered every question. The open kitchen at the farm is really nice. And all the dishes turned out really tasty! Overall, very recommended!

"Great Cultural Experience!"

This cooking class was an amazing cultural experience. Da, the local organic farmer, took us to the market first to get some of the ingredients. Then, we went to his house where he taught us how to cook 5 different dishes. The setting was outdoors under his covered patio, and he gave us great insights with his expertise. To top it, Da had a great demeanor. He was professional and a lot of fun.

"Very Good"

We booked a 1/2 day class “Da” our instructor picked us up right on time and We rode in the back of his truck to his farm. He showed us his garden with the herbs he uses. We chose and cooked 4 Dishes each. Sooo good. We were picked up about 8:30am an returned about 2 pm. Good value.
