Asia Scenic Thai Cooking School

What a great experience, Sue our instructor made the whole evening fun and interesting. Throughly enjoyed every minute. But don’t forget to go hungry, theres a lot to eat once you have cooked it!!

We loved this awesome evening cooking class! Nune was an incredible instructor, guiding our group expertly through the many dishes we prepared. We loved that we could choose each dish for each course, and enjoyed learning techniques for prepping fresh herbs, sauces and cooking with a wok. Learning authentic Northern Thai cooking was a flavor fest!

Katie was a wonderful teacher! In the class you can learnt a lot of Thailand recipes, everything was delicious. We recommend program an Katie.

This was my first cooking class ever, and it was a great one to start with! Their description listed 7 categories, but we only did 5 for our class. You were able to pick your own dish out of each category. We did a brief tour of their herb garden and a brief visit to the local spice/produce market down the street. Received a short cookbook that described the dishes and ingredients we used in the class. Would highly recommend!

I definitively recommend taking a cooking class in Chiang Mai and this one was really great ! You start with a tour of their garden where they grow some ingredients themselves, then you visit the local market and they explain how they use popular ingredients, and then it's time for cooking ! Cooking was fun and easy and the best part of the class is that you get to meet other travelers and exchange with them while cooking !

I had a great time with Asia Scenic. Before cooking, our teacher gave some explanations about Thai cooking and different herbs and she also took us to the nearby market. During our cooking class, each step was guided thoroughly and the teacher gave an example first so that we knew what to do. At the end of the class, they gave us a small cookbook and it's such a nice memento from them. My favorite thing was when we were in their garden at the back and we got to see different herbs there. The place is also clean and spacious. With the price that they offered, it's definitely something I'd recommend people to do while in Chiang Mai.

Cooked delicious food with simple ingredients and instructions. Nami was very clear and engaging. Also, you will leave with a cookbook! Will definitely continue cooking thai food :)

I loved the half day class, it was nice because you could choose what you wanted to make and customize it if you didn’t like fish sauce/oyster sauce. We got to make curry paste from scratch which was cool - I left the class feeling like I could do this at home which is what you want really. Definitely do this class in Chiang Mai if you have the time.

We spent a week in Chiang May and booked two cooking classes with two different schools. Asia Scenic was by far our favorite. Everything was perfect from the morning pickup at our hotel to the drop off in the afternoon. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and know what they're doing. This school also has a rain roof with attic fans and misting fans to help keep you cool for those used to AC..lol. I liked how quickly they moved from one dish to the next and we were always busy. Comparing the two schools, this one also had a better assortment of dishes to choose from and the recipes tasted better. We had a great time and highly recommend this school for anyone considering a Thai cooking class!

The cooking class was super cool and we cooked everything on our own. Also the market Tour was interesting. The transfer worked good as well and everyone was really nice :)

It was a greatexperience to have cooking class wirg different peole from diffetent countries. It was an enjoyable trip when our class tutor Mr A gave us food details from the local market and we learnt a lot and packed some goodies home too. Mr A was such a humor person so we laugh a lot during the class. For 3 hours class, we made 3 dishes surprisingly. And we had full stomach bach home. Thanks again.

This cooking class was great. They let us cook our own dishes on our own. There were great choices for the food and the experience was fun in all.

This class was super fun and made Thai cooking very easy. They showed us the main ingredients that are grown in the garden and the ingredients you can buy at the market. If you love Thai food, this was just as good as eating at the restaurant. And you feel great cooking it yourself!

Selection of menu choices for half day and full day classes should have been clearly stated. Had to pay extra for learning two of my favorite dishes. Other than that, our instructor Nune was an excellent teacher. We (class of 7) were from different parts of the world and thoroughly had a great time learning and cooking Thai dishes. Thanks to Nune🙂

This is one of the best cooking schools i have been to so far. There were a lot of things to learn aside from the food but also with the culture. With had 5 dishes, curry paste and spring rolls. I was able to join a group of tourists from around the world with such pleasure. We all learned a lot from each other and they arranged all the activities for us from pick up to the finish. We went home carrying the experience, joy and knowledge from everyone present in the class.

'A' was an excellent teacher with a great sense of humour. Great to learn about the herbs & the visit the to market was informative. Su welcomed us in her beautiful garden and kitchen, where we met our cooking partners for the morning. Su was so very nice with us and her explanations were perfect! Spicy is sexy! Girl power ;)

We had a cooking class with a good team ( mix of nationalities) our teacher was perfect, she explained very clearly, we cooked fresh product from the market and the garden. Thanks a lot again and for the people who are interested to do a cooking class, definitely you have to choose asia scenic!!

We had so much fun at Asia Scenic cooking school! The organic farm tour is a great way to learn about local ingredients. Staff very friendly. 5 stars!
