I did this class solo. I love to cook and I love to cook Italian food for my three young kids. This was a great refresher. It was fun and informative. I can’t recommend this enough. I didn’t feel rehearsed. It felt more natural and experience was extremely enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Absolutely love it. William was fantastic!
Incredibly great the chef was very friendly and we had a great time
Had a very good night! Really recommend this place!
ur experience was so much FUN! We enjoyed learning how to make three different dishes, while laughing and enjoying the moment. Our personal favorite was Cacio e Pepe, so delicious!
Absolutely the best cooking class in Rome !!! Exceeded our expectations
What can be better than creative and personable Italian boys teaching you how to make pasta? Felt like I was in a movie!
We signed up for this class after another one fell through and I am so glad we did. It was so fun and we learned a lot! Our instructor Leo was terrific! Take this class! When you do, come hungry!!
Leo was a fantastic host and teacher, the class was really fun and enjoyable and the food fantastic! Thank you!
Amazing. Leo is awesome! We had the best time. Best food we had in Rome.
Fun experience! Great teacher. Loved his enthusiasm and expertise!
We had the best time! The chefs were so fun and engaging! They really made sure to teach you and have you understand why they did what they did so that you could make the pasta on your own. Probably had the best pasta of the trip during this class!
Leo was amazing thank you delicious food!
Best cooking experience I’ve ever had — highly recommend! It was such a fun and interactive session, led by a truly professional and friendly team. I loved how they combined modern techniques with traditional cuisine, using high-quality ingredients throughout. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
RICCARDO and his crew were awesome from start to finish. So friendly and knowledgeable. The class was informative and a blast! It was so fun making 3 different kinds of pasta & sauces. We can’t wait to try it again at home with the rest of our family. And I love how he supports local farms and products. Thanks for everything… we had a great time. Highly recommend!
Leo was an amazing chef/host! The instruction was top notch, but his personality and relatability has been over the top! Can’t wait to make everything back home in the US.
Fantastic experience. The food was amazing. Leo was an excellent teacher and full of energy. Definitely recommend.
I have taken many cooking classes in Italy. In Rome, Sorrento, Florence and this one, again in Rome. I took one in Thailand too. This is THE best! Very knowledgeable chefs, who know their craft, but are fun and funny and thoughtful of their clients. They are well organized and the time flies by. They accept questions without hesitation, the most basic included. In 4 days I took two, thinking about a third in a few days! Don’t hesitate!!
This class far exceeded our expectations! Leo was incredibly warm, kind, and of course taught us how to make some DELICIOUS pasta dishes. The food was just amazing. It was the perfect mix of learning, chatting, eating. One of our favorite things that we did our entire time in Italy. Highly highly recommend this class with Leo, we had the best time!
Perfect way to introduce the kids to the Roman pastas and bring home some delicious memories and skills. Chef William and Victor were the best.
Took the class and enjoyed it so much. Hands on experience and worked with 2 Riccardos running our class. The original and a new helper. Only 4 of us in the class this night. The process is so much fun, I would highly recommend the Riccardo cooking class. To anyone looking to take a pasta cooking class. Will try this new learned skills when I get home.
The chefs William and Leo were super nice and funny. We cooked three different pasta with sauce, which was very well guided by the two. There were lots of snacks and lots of wine. The pasta tasted great! At the end you get the recipes you cooked + more. A clear recommendation!
An absolutely perfect use of three hours in Rome! William was an amazing teacher --- organized, patient, funny. William even made challenging dishes such as cacio e pepe seem easy and the other students in the class really enhanced the experience. Highly recommended --- either to raise your cooking game or just to enjoy some delicious pasta!
This was so fun! We made 2 types of pasta and ravioli with sauces - so much food that we had to take it home! Our chef, Leo, was excellent. He did a great job explaining the process, showing us what to do, making adjustments and telling us why. If you want to really know how to make pasta the Italian way, this is for you!
This was an absolute blast!! Far exceeded my expectations! Leo was sooo fun!! And - I actually learned some new techniques!! Not to mention the food was some of the best we had in Roma!!! Would 100% do this again!!!
We had the best time! Our chef, Leo was amazing and engaging. He included everyone in the class. He had the best tips when cooking the sauces and the pasta as well as making the pasta. He explained things very well. It was one of the best tours we have ever done! I highly recommend this to anyone!!!
Chef William was an outstanding instructor and the food was marvelous. The experience was everything we hoped for and more! Sherry & Audrey
This was one of my top favorite things I did in Italy, this activity was worth every penny. THe food was amazing and thr chef was amazing! Don't hesitate on booking you will not regret it.
If you want an authentic pasta making class in Italy, book this class. It was so much fun and the food was amazing. Lots of wine! Lots of laughs! & most importantly lots of pasta!
We had a blast at this class!! The guys did amazing at explaining step by step each pasta we made, giving fun history, tips & techniques along the way! It was delicious, felt very local & was a fun group experience. Highly recommend!
Enjoyed the class. I like how the chefs made you comfortable and would try to accomodate everyone. Time well spent and l highly recommend.
The chefs were absolutely amazing, the dishes were simply exquisite. Super beautiful studio. We made 3 different pastas and were served prosseco throughout the whole class. Started at 11:00 and finished around 14:00. It’s super easy to reach the studio with public transportation from the city center. Chefs gave beautiful recommendations for various restaurants to try during our visit in Roma. The only downside was that the other 2 people from this class only spoke french so it made us feel a little bit left out because the chef was speaking and telling stories in french for the majority of time. He tried to translate some parts but it didn’t feel the same. Apart from that, everything was amazing.
The best part about our trip to Rome! I'm so glad we were able to get the recipes so we can make pasta when we return home. I'm so glad we booked this course. My husband isn’t a big fan of tiramisu, and I didn't want to do a pizza-making class, so I searched for a while to find a pasta-making only class. I'm so glad I did. Book this experience! William was wonderful, as was our small group! It was so fun!
We absolutely loved it! The Chefs were very knowledgeable and did a great job teaching! They made the class very fun and easy to learn! The dishes we made were so delicious, we can’t wait to try to make them at home! We would highly recommend it to everyone!
Ricardo made this an amazing experience!! Made 3 pasta & 3 Italian sauces from scratch. Exactly what I wanted to experience from a true Italian. Had some amazing wine too!!
The best culinary class I have taken in my life! Fantastic tuition, quality of ingredients and guidance from Riccardo and his team. I would definitely rcommend this class, particularly for those who want an authentic experience and to learn how to make the best Italian dishes. The class is super fun and engaging, and there is plenty of prosecco and wine available, too. 12/10 experience.
We had a great time!! Absolutely loved the class and would definitely recommend!! Chef Riccardo was Great!! Mattia did and Awesome job!! And Bruno did an great job as well!! Thank you so much for the great class and Amazing memories!!
Riccardo was brilliant, patiently taking us through all the steps of making 3 different types of pasta along with 3 different sauces to accompany each dish. He made it really fun, and even paired each part with a different wine. Discussed what ingredients to look for when shopping back home and how to get the most out of all ingredients. Would highly recommend adding this experience to your Rome trip. But make sure to add this early on, so you can make the most out of his recommendations for restaurants during the rest of your trip!
Riccardo knows his way around the kitchen and Italian food. It was a great experience to make pasta and enjoy Italian foodculture. His love for pasta makes it complete. Great to visit in a group, with family or when traveling alone.
This was an incredible experience. It’s been the highlight of our trip. Chef William was a wonderful teacher. He was kind and patient, and he made the experience so fun. I can’t wait to try to replicate what we learned in class at home. We loved each dish more than the next. We picked this class because it had the most offerings we thought we’d make again at home, compared with other options we saw. I’m so glad we did this experience.
Best thing we have done on our trip to Italy!
This was an extremely memorable experience for my dad's 80th birthday together with his children and grandchildren. As a family, we all love to cook - Riccardo and his colleague Guillermo did not fail to impress us, honoring Roman culinary classics with a passionate commitment to traditional techniques that were fun as well as technical. Both Riccardo and Guillermo were charming in their manner, no question was a bother, and truly light hearted and encouraging with the grandchildren making both young and old feel so welcome. Extra attention was given to my dad for his birthday, prosecco enjoyed before the meal, and after all our hard labor, the most delicious meal to enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend this opportunity!
My family and friends had a wonderful time with Chef William at Riccardo Cooking Class. He was fantastic. The meals we made were great. He was patient with us and helped us. I really feel confident in being able to cook these meals when we get back home. William even made adjustments for a few of the party that were vegetarians. All in all, we couldn't be happier. This cooking experience made this trip something we will never forget and was totally worth the investment. Anyone traveling to Italy, specifically Rome, this class is a MUST! It really allows you to experience the culture, the food, wine, everything all in ONE!
This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Rome! The class lived up to its reputation, and though we didn’t meet Riccardo, he assured us that his entire team was great. We were not disappointed because we had the delightful William, the Jack Sparrow of pasta! I highly recommend this class, especially in the beautiful new cooking space. You will learn, eat, drink, and meet wonderful people.
We had a great time, prepared fresh pasta and 4 different sauces! wine kept flowing all through the tasting and we wrapped it up with dessert and sweet wine cant recommend this class enough.
We had a family of 5 in our group and everyone had an amazing time with Riccardo! The food was delicious, great atmosphere, and even the moms of the group learned several things. I can’t recommend this enough and hope to be back in the future!
Ricardo and Marco were marvelous!! They gave great instructions and demonstrations. We made 3 different pastas and then watched them make the 3 different sauces. Delicious, informative and entertaining!!
Great activity! Riccardo and William gave us plein of tips to make pasta and local sauces. Interesting and delicious!
We were a bit nervous to book this class because it had no reviews but it sounded fun so we went with it and were NOT disappointed! (We found out later that he has 5 star reviews on Trip advisor etc) Riccardo was amazingly knowledgeable and made us feel like family as we learned how to make 3 kinds of pasta. It was a homey intimate setting in his grandmothers home and we are excited to apply what we learned at home!
Amazing experience here! Absolutely loved every part of this activity. We met the lovely Riccardo and the chef William, both were an absolute pleasure to learn from and they were so accommodating and really friendly. We made 3 different kinds of pasta: ravioli, fettuccine and spaghetti. Really interesting the learn how handmade pasta is done, and will definitely be taking the skills I learned here back to London and making it for the family. They also taught us how to make different types of sauces, we made an arrabbiata sauce for the fettuccini, a carbonara sauce with the spaghetti which I really loved. The carbonara made here was different from the one in the uk which was really nice to taste how a traditional one is made, the guanciale was really delicious and gave the pasta dish an amazing flavour. My friend who came along with me has allergies, they were very accommodating to make sure there was something suitable for her. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Rome!!!
Riccardo and Lao(?) were so friendly and inviting. He shared his passion and knowledge of making pasta with a sense of humor and involved everyone with clear and simple instructions. The pasta and sauce we made was delicious and the wine complimented our dishes perfectly. Best to go at start of holiday in Rome as he has recommendations of restaurants, pizza & galateria places and which wine is good to drink. Would highly recommend this experience. Thank you Riccardo.
My name is Riccardo, and I was born and raised in Rome. I'm 28 years old, a chef, a sommelier, and I hold a degree in food and wine sciences. These accomplishments reflect my journey and experiences.
Cooking is my passion! As a child, I loved spending time in the kitchen, watching my grandma and mom prepare our traditional Sunday lunch. This early fascination inspired me to pursue a career in the culinary world.
After finishing high school, I attended culinary school and worked as a cook in various restaurants for several years. Later, I earned a degree in Food Sciences from the University of RomaTre. Today, I host masterclasses on Italian cuisine in my own kitchen.
