Frantoio Gargiulo

This experience was incredible! We had five wines (two whites, two reds, one prosecco) along with four full courses (antipasti, eggplant with cheese, ravioli, meatballs and potatoes, and a chocolate muffin for dessert). Sommelier Louisa was so funny, we loved it. We came for my mom's birthday, and they sang "Happy Birthday" in Italian.

Louisa, Salvador, and Giuseppe were fantastic! We did several olive oil and vinegar tastings with Giuseppe, and they were all delicious! We were followed by five full glasses of wine to taste (customized to our preferences), and we had so much delicious food to pair. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to my mom, and we received a little limoncello as a nice surprise at the end. What a wonderful experience.

We just finished our wine tasting experience and what a fantastic time we had. The venue was lovely with the most incredible views! All the staff were fantastic and knowledgeable, and the wine and food were exceptionally good. We weren't expecting so much food; they kept bringing more. And to top it all, they picked us up and took us back afterwards. I highly recommend it. Thank you .

Simply excellent day. The tour was interesting and informative, and just the right length. Giuseppe was charming and knowledgeable throughout. The oil and vinegar tasting was fun, plentiful, and relaxed. The highlight was the lunch and wine tasting (five wines plus limoncello). The location is charming and peaceful, the food was delicious, all freshly cooked for the table. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, explaining everything in a relaxed manner. Transportation to and from the hotel was on time and in an air-conditioned Mercedes. All in all, four fantastic hours, worth every penny.

Our group had a fantastic experience at Gargiulo's, with the pizza-making class and tasting tour. Chef Claudio was fantastic with our children and made the experience very fun. The olive oil tasting was also excellent. We regularly order from the US, but this was our first time visiting their facility. They sent a car to Sorrento to pick us up, which made everything easy and convenient.

We had a wonderful time with Claudio as our chef and coach, learning how to prepare two traditional Italian dishes. Not only was he very knowledgeable and talented with various cooking techniques, but he also had a way of connecting with people that made us feel right at home. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, sourced directly from their on-site farm. I would recommend him 10 out of 10.

This was the most perfect intimate cooking class, the instructors/chefs were so much fun and they have a beautiful property overlooking Sorrento.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Frantoio Gargiulo. The olive oil tour was fascinating and gave us a true appreciation for the history and craftsmanship behind the oils. The tasting was incredibly generous, with so many delicious local products to try. Everything was fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. Our family also participated in the pizza-making class, which was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Claudio was fantastic with our children, making the experience fun, interactive, and memorable for all of us. He was patient, engaging, and clearly loves what he does. The pizzas we made were delicious, and the rest of the meal was exceptional. If you're visiting the Sorrento or Positano area, this is an experience we highly recommend. Amazing people and amazing food! Claudio absolutely made the experience for us with his friendly, fun, and informative personality, and the pizza was perfect! This is my 5-star review for the pizza-making class I took with Claudio, with an amazing view of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. The class was informative, fun, and an amazing experience. The experience was unparalleled so far in my 3-week trip to Italy. From the moment we were picked up at the hotel to the moment we arrived at the class, Claudio, our master pizzaiolo, was enthusiastic and greeted us with one of those greetings you hope to replicate in the future. He was not only our teacher and chef, but also our personal cameraman. Check out the photos for yourself! The shop on the ground floor gave us the opportunity to chat with amazing people and try a million (just kidding, about 20) different types of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The restaurant recommendations in Meta were a real hit, thank you! Shout out to Tico Tico! We forgot our course diplomas in the shop, and they went over and delivered our souvenir to our hotel. It was just a piece of paper, but the service and attentiveness make this our favorite activity in Italy. It's a must-try experience for couples, groups of friends, or families! Enjoy that one-on-one moment with the genius of the pizza oven. The gladiator himself! Salvadoreeee 🥂

We had a great time. We strolled through the gardens, were shown how olive oil is made, and had an olive oil tasting before heading to the pizza-making class. It was so much fun, and we had the best pizza chef. He made our day special. The interaction was great, and we actually learned how to make a Margherita pizza (we even received our diploma and recipe). The pizza was fresh and delicious. The view from the restaurant terrace was beautiful while we ate. Everyone on the property was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a very beautiful excursion through the olive groves and gained insights into the history and production of the oil. A wonderful tasting rounded off the afternoon. Afterwards, we were able to shop in the showroom and received a gift.
