Our guide and co -owner, Victor, was born and raised in Puerto Viejo, Limon, and learned o cok since he was a child. Being part of a family of five boys, his mother taught him to cook at an early age. His family owns a Caribbean restaurant in town, where he worked as a cook for over 20 years. On 2017 he decided to work independently and to share some traditional recipes and his culture with the visitors because even tough Puerto Viejo is a very touristic area most people don´t get the chance to learn about the history and traditions of the Afro Caribbean people in the area.
