Tentang

The class will start with an introduction to the key ingredients used in Thai cooking and then be followed by a market tour. Fortunately we are located in the market so not far to go!

Once back at our school, you will prepare 4 dishes under the following categories: Appetizers, Salad, Stir Fry and a Curry. We will show you the diversity of ingredients and how different dishes can be adapted using different ingredients. We will do this through our signature “Create a Salad” and “Pad Thai Masterclass” sessions where we allow you to get creative.

Menus are subject to change as we like to mix it up to and some of the ingredients will depend on seasonality. We will also serve Thai herbal drinks and dessert.

This cooking class is suitable for vegetarians and all items have vegetarian substitutions. If, you do have specific dietary requirements please do let us know in advance.

"Fantastic, perfect blend of instruction and hands on experience."

Alyssa Han and Tom provide an amazing experience in Bangkok. Very accommodating when we arrived and incorporated us right in making us feel like we didn’t miss anything. And helped since one of us had to watch the baby.

"Just Wow"

Just wow! I was with my friends and we booked a cooking class at the very last minute. And it was such an amazing experience. We had a planned vacation in Thailand and we wanted to enjoy our very last day. So we asked our hotel if they can refer any other things to do. Thai cooking school was the biggest highlight of the event. The place was so inviting, full of organic herbs and veggies. We made thai dishes, all the ingredients were neatly prepared and brought to us on decorative wooden trays. We also had a market tour. They were also able to squeeze our vegetarian request. We were very well taken cared of, staff were accommodating.

"Authentic Professional and Warm Thai cooking experience!"

The best experience during my visit in Bangkok! Alyssa has been a chef for years I can feel it's an authentic professional cooking class! She even tell us how to find a substitute everyone's region where the fresh ingredients is quite different from Thai's. It's hard for me to pick a favorite dish because I love them ALL!! The best part is Alyssa teaching us how to make curry paste by the most incredible fresh ingredients! I also enjoyed the market visit for sure where Alyssa told us how to identify fresh ingredients. Love to join another class next time in Bangkok.

Titik Mesyuarat

We are hidden away on the 2nd floor (mezzanine floor) of the main Yodpiman Flower Market building. This is the building between the main road and Yodpiman River Walk (the newer restaurant / shopping area by the river) and they will be selling a lot of flowers used for offerings. The easiest way to get to us is to take the river ferry and get off at Pak Klong Talad pier (pier N6/1). You can get the local orange flag ferry (15THB - runs from early morning) or the blue flag tourist ferry (40THB – first boat is 9am). If you are staying near a skytrain station you can get the Skytrain to Saphan Taksin and then the ferry.

When you get off the ferry you will be in Yodpiman River Walk and need to walk into the main flower market. Look for signs for The Market Experience or ask the concierge. If you take a taxi, please keep in mind that the traffic can be bad and it can take longer than expected.
