Farming Tour and Cooking Class at Tra Que Minty Garden

You can experience a day of joining gardening activities with the local farmer and learning how to make Vietnamese tasty and traditional dishes with Chef Danny. 

The aim of these tours is to provide our guests with many chances to see and experience the authentic, normal life of this locality, from how to plow the land, make seedbeds, transplant seedlings, irrigate, to how to make the local foods, prepare a typical meal for a Vietnamese family and enjoy it. 

Menu

Choose one of the following menus (Same menu for one booking).

Menu 1:

• Tam Huu
• Deep fried spring rolls with vegetable, shrimp and pork
• Hoi An pancakes
• Grilled fish with turmeric in banana leaf
• Steamed rice in banana leaves.
• Sauteed morning glory with garlic.
• Seasonal fresh fruit.

Menu 2:

• Morning glory salad
• Beef BBQ with la lot (Lot leaf)
• Hoi An rice pancakes (Banh xeo)
• Braised pork in clay pot
• Steamed rice with pandan leaves.
• Sauteed bok-choy with garlic.
• Hoi An special cake

Menu 3 (Vegetarian)

• Fresh spring rolls with tofu and mushroom
• Vegetarian spring roll
• Taro curry with coconut juice
• Vegetarian pancake with tofu and mushroom
• Steamed rice with pandan leaves.
• Stir-fried seasonal vegetable
• Seasonal fresh fruit /Hoi An special cake.

Jadwal

Morning Session

• 9:00 am: Pick-up at your hotel (by bike or scooter with driver) and carry on with our trip to Tra Que Vegetable Village
• 9:30 am: Take a short stroll around the vegetable garden provides you insight into the history of our village, and the different crops the villagers cultivate.
• 10:00 am: Join gardening activities in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, and picking vegetables.
• 10:30 am: Cooking session begins, you learn the differences about the ingredients and our traditional methods of preparing and cooking 3-4 Vietnamese dishes.
• 12:00 pm: Enjoy your self-prepared meal with whole menu 7 dishes.
• 1:00 pm: Back to the hotel.

Afternoon Session:
