My name is Leela, a passionate home cook from Jodhpur, and I invite you to join me on an immersive cultural and culinary journey into the heart of Indian cooking. Since 2017, I’ve been welcoming guests from around the world into my traditional home to experience the rich flavors, time-honored techniques, and family traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Our experience begins with a visit to a local market, where we’ll handpick fresh, seasonal vegetables. Back in my home kitchen, we’ll cook together using both modern gas and a traditional clay chulha (open fire), which brings a smoky, earthy flavor to the dishes—something you won’t find in restaurants.

Throughout the class, you’ll learn how to prepare 9 to 11 authentic Indian dishes, discover the secrets and health benefits of Indian spices, and pick up practical home-style cooking tips that you can take with you. This is more than a cooking class—it’s a warm, hands-on introduction to Indian culture, food, and hospitality.

You’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Salawas Village, Jodhpur, where I will warmly welcome you into my family home.

Back from the market, we’ll start by preparing vibrant vegetables and aromatic spices—the foundation of our cooking experience.
