Who doesnt love Korean food? This was one of the best experience we had from our short trip to Korea. Great school! Amazing chef! Dave was very friendly and accommodating. He has his own style in teaching that was intimidating but very concise and straight to the point. He taught us the importance of spices in Korean cuisine as well as the use of different herbs from the market tour. From a person who loves Korean food and wanting to try out being a Korean for one day, then this is the perfect place for you!

I’d give this experience 10/10. Seriously. Everything was perfect! I have now narrowed down my top 3 favourite Korean dishes: Japchae, Dolsot Bibimbap, pageon. I was so impressed. It was fun, hugely informative, hands on, delicious, efficient.
Our instructor Jihee was just the best. From the moment we arrived, she never stopped smiling and laughing, was easy to talk to and led through the experience with excellence. The market tour was very interesting and should not be skipped, but the best part is of course cooking in the very homy Ome kitchen. The staff is incredibly kind and gave us the feeling of cooking with friends, while still respecting us as customers. We went there on a „vegetarian option available-day“ and while there were some misunderstandings at first, they accustomed to our special dietary needs with patience and professionalism. The chefs at some are masters at what they are doing. They will make everything very easy but still give you tips of a pro. Therefore, I would consider this class suitable for beginners and professionals. The group was very diverse, among us a Chef from Thailand, a travel group of housewifes and people who haven’t ever really touched a knife. Everything is planned with love and carried out with passion, so I really recommend this unforgettable experience for everyone!
I really enjoyed the market tour and the cooking. The guide was super sweet and funny. She also knew a lot about the korean cuisine and answered a lot of questions. We even cooked more dishes than planned. I would totally reccomend this class (:
Our guide/leader, Jihee, was awesomely helpful and knowledgeable and very gracious with our endless questions. The market you tour is incredible and you get to make a ton of dishes. I would book with OME again in a heartbeat.
Minseon does a wonderful job including everyone in the experience, whether you're solo or with companions. She's so good at setting the mood, you'd feel like you're cooking with old friends rather than strangers. Everything was very hands-on, from writing your name in Hangul to chopping away then cooking the ingredients. My favorite part of the class was when we all sat together at the end to savour our creations. I'd highly recommend this class to anyone who's looking for a great time while learning about the Korean cuisine.
Overall a great experience. My family and I had a great time walking through the local market, getting helpful guidance on the incredients. Whether you are a novice or an experienced cook, you would enjoy the experience. We made 7 dishes and ate them all. Highly recommended!
This was the ONLY class that was kind enough to accomodate my halal dietary requirements - and I appreciated that greatly. The class itself was a great social and interactive experience. We also learned about different substitutions and how to adjust recipes to everyone's preference. Such a chill environment with beautiful souls. The market tour was so knowledgable and was an eye opener as well. You see every nook and cranny of Korean food being sold here. This is a Muslim-friendly class. Super highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed my cooking class and Wish to take more soon. Kim Minseon patiently taught her class in three languages when I attended. We all had fun! I will recommend the class anytime!
The class was so fun! We love to cook back in America so it was amazing learning a new type of cuisine.
I attended with my daughter and we both loved it. We received a lot of information and we cooked a lot of food. We had some nice people attended too and it was worth every penny. Thank you for a lovely class. We are definitely cooking more Korean food at home.
We had a wonderful time. Loved going through the market with Dave pointing out many things of interest. The OME staff was delightful and our chef very considerate of food allergies and preferences as well as being very knowledgeable. The food was prepped for us beautifully and the result delicious. 5 stars! Thanks for a great experience!
All the staff was so nice and we cooked so many different recipes ! I reallly liked the atmosphere, had a really good time there, can't wait to cook some dishes at home.
Love the experienced and the organizer bringing us around in the market. Learnt a lot. I'm planning to go to Japan and take a cookly class from there
Really liked the market tour. David was polite and friendly. The teacher was very knowledgeable in cooking. All in all, a great culinary experience for all participated in the class. Thank you!
The tour round the health market with Daehee was really informative and interesting...but the food market was AMAZING and huge! The actual cookery lesson with Shin was very nice, we made five dishes, with the japchae and pajeon being my favourite. Shin and Daehee sat down to eat with us and chat, which was lovely. Good value in terms of time, the market, the amount of dishes and the amount of food we got to eat!
Fun and enjoyable experience
It was definitely a great cooking experience as we were introduced to the typical Korean way of cooking. Understanding how similar ingredients can be used differently to make different dishes. I love the local market tour the most as i was overwhelmed by the amount of food ingredients displayed at the market. Most importantly we had a great instructor who was really friendly, full of patience and kind.
I enjoyed the market tour & class of Ome Cooking Lab. Worth my time & money.
The food was great. The instructions were clear. We had fun in the class.
