For over 13 years, we’ve been welcoming travellers to Italy through its most universal language: food. Cooking Italy began in Rome’s Prati neighbourhood with our very first experience, The Roman Food Tour. What started as a single walking tour has grown into one of Italy’s most loved food experience operators, and we’re incredibly proud of that journey. Not just for how much we’ve grown, but for how we’ve stayed true to what matters most: authenticity, quality, and genuine human connection.

It was great from start to finish.

Everything was perfect: the welcome, the explanations, the setting, the chef was very educational and you could see that not only did he master his craft, but he was passionate about it! I had a very pleasant time. I can only recommend it. Thank you!

Our guide was great!

Class was fun and well presented. I loved the fluffy tiramisu!! Making pasta was a cool experience and I would now be comfortable trying it at home. Enjoying the meal was enjoyable. Left with the recipes and a great night out!!

Orietta was amazing!

Our experience has been absolutely amazing.

The other party in our class did not show so we ended up with a private guide. Jacopo was absolutely amazing. He took the time to give us personal insights as a chef that he has learned over the years. We made wonderful ravioli and tagliatelle and some of the best tiramisu I've ever had. Would absolutely recommend him as your guide!
