I booked this for my parents as a retirement gift and they loved it! It was so personal and the owners were so helpful in making this a successful surprise gift. They were so thoughtful and created a wonderful experience for my parents!

We truly enjoyed the Cook Like an Ancient Tuscan class. Gloria and Matteo were wonderful hosts, making us feel relaxed and welcome from the moment we arrived, like friends they had invited to dinner. The class was unhurried, starting with 30 minutes of conversation as we took in the gorgeous view from their villa in the charming town of Fiesol, high above Florence (but a quick and scenic bus ride from center city). The recipes we learned were simple and practical - easy to replicate at home with a visit to an Italian grocery (or a regular store with a few substitutions) but most importantly delicious. Gloria and Matteo kept the conversation lively. They peppered instruction about ancient Tuscan food preparation with interesting tidbits about modern Tuscan cooking and lifestyles. We departed full and happy. All in all, a terrific way to spend a Tuscan evening.
