Our family had a great experience in this class. We did a 2 pm time slot so this was our main meal for the day, and it was plenty of food! It was also a nice break from the intense heat of the day. Chef Marco and his assistant Saiful were wonderful to the whole group, and they made it all work seamlessly. Each step of the way they explained everything and helped us work together to make a delicious meal. Our 10-year old twin boys loved it and insisted that it was the best pizza they ate in Italy. We were with 2 other families so it made it a lot of fun for the kids to have some peers there as well. The wines they provided for the adults were fun to try as well. We’ll definitely look for another class like this in the future.

It was really fun to make gelato plus sorbet….plus they were both delicious!

I can't recommend this enough. I learned so much, not only about the food but also about the local culture and traditions. The atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming, and I had the chance to meet incredible people from all over the world. The food was beyond delicious — every bite was unforgettable. We went around to local vendors and shops to gather fresh ingredients, and Marco the chef had so much passion to teach us anything we asked about. We laughed, learned, and ate some of the best food that has ever hit my tongue. Thank you so much Marco!

Alessandro was the perfect guide & chef >> passionate, welcoming, knowledgeable, funny and warm. He made everyone feel right at home from the start. What really set this apart was beginning the day at the local market: grabbing breakfast at the bakery, getting our cut of meat from the butcher, hand-picking vegetables & selecting cheeses. It felt like I was truly living a day in the life of a Roman chef/local. Then there was the kitchen which absolutely is stunning! We cooked a feast: fresh pasta, veal cotoletta, salad and tiramisu with plenty of prosciutto, cheeses, cookies and pizza throughout grabbed from the market. This easily ranks at the top of my all-time favorite life experiences. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic, soulful and unforgettable!

If you only do one food experience in Rome, make it this one. The private setting made it feel very special and personalized from beginning to end. We learned so many real techniques that we can actually recreate at home, especially for fresh pasta and pizza dough. The gelato was unbelievably fresh and creamy! The chef created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the location in Rome’s Jewish Ghetto added so much charm and history to the evening. Absolutely worth it.

We booked this as a private family experience and it exceeded every expectation. The pace was relaxed, the instructions were easy to follow, and everyone got involved in making pizza, pasta, and gelato. Our chef was patient, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about Italian food traditions. Sitting down at the end to enjoy everything we had prepared together with wine was unforgettable. This private cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome! The chef made us feel instantly welcome with wine, aprons, and such a relaxed atmosphere. We loved making everything from scratch — especially the ravioli and gelato. The pizza toppings selection was incredible, and the location near the Jewish Ghetto made the experience feel even more authentic. It truly felt like spending an evening cooking with friends in Rome rather than attending a tourist activity.

What a fun experience!!! Alex was our teacher/chef and boy was he amazing! This was my husband’s first time attending a cooking class and he loved everything about it. We met great people, drank good wine, laughed and learned some delicious recipes. Oh yes, and we ate!! Truly a wonderful evening and Alex made it a great memory for us.

This cooking class was everything we were hoping for and more! It was so fun to make pizza, ravioli, and gelato, and the small group allowed us to get personalized tips and tricks from chef Marco, who was super friendly and fun to work with. The class was very accessible and fun for people with a wide range of cooking skills. We used only the highest quality ingredients, which meant that we really enjoyed the end product! We would definitely do this type of class again.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome! We met Chef Ian in the market at Campo Di Fiori where we created our menu based off of what was fresh at the market, stopped for some delicious baked treats, then shopped locally for for our meat and cheeses. We then walked to the beautiful kitchen where we prepared our feast! We had so much fun, learned how to make an authentic Italian dish and made wonderful memories. Everything was of highest quality!

We had such a great evening. Chef Davide was such a good teacher, kind and funny. He shared about Italian culture as well as great cooking tips. Even my husband who was a bit apprehensive, enjoyed every aspect. The people in the group were from all over the world and enjoyable as well! I would highly recommend this class. Just tried this experience a few hours ago and I must say it was a choice I will never regret! Extremely friendly host who went all the way to help me prepare 2 of the 3 courses gluten free, gave the 11 year old in our group an extra helping hand when the pizza dough didn't work out as planned, greeted our birthday participant with candle and song, etc. Authentic atmosphere, tasty Montepulciano red wine, high quality ingredients, hands on pizza dough throwing lesson :-), cleanliness and good wibes throughout the cooking session! Thanks to all group members as well, it was so much fun meeting you! Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our cooking class with chef David. He was patient and gave us insights to not just Italian food, but the culture. A fun way to spend an afternoon. I’d do it again!

We did the pizza and gelato cooking class as a family of four (two adults and two kids aged 11 and 13) and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The class was relaxed, well organised, and very engaging for both adults and kids. Everyone got hands-on making their own pizza from scratch — from stretching the dough to choosing toppings — and the instructor David was patient, fun, and great at explaining things. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. It felt like a genuine local experience rather than a touristy activity. Highly recommend this class for families — educational, interactive, and a lot of fun, with very tasty results at the end of suppli, pizza and gelato - & a box to take home what we couldn’t eat. A fantastic way to create memories together.

I appreciated the delicious menu, but above all, the patience and care shown to children who participated in the class. Davide and Josepe had to manage a group covering a large generational range, and did so with great skill. The kids were never left out. My daughter is now inspired to cook more. On top of a delicious and fun afternoon, it was even educational!

Marco, Alessandro, and Ian were wonderful. We had an absolute blast doing the pizza and gelato masterclass, and we loved it so much that we signed up the very next day for the pasta and tiramisu class as well. The little recipe books are so cute, and being able to cook, create, and eat everything together was such a wholesome experience. They truly make you feel like part of the family.

The overall experience was amazing: the space, the food and specially Jacopo and Samir, who were very attentive with not only the class but also any request, doubt and comment we had. We very much enjoyed our cooking class with Jacobo. We made two different pasta dishes and Tiramisu which was great fun. Jacobo prepared special ingredients for my friend as she is lactose-intolerant. 10/10 would recommend :)

Alessandro was a wonderful teacher of Italian cuisine for our family of 6! We all very much enjoyed our cooking class of ravioli, gnocchi and tiramisu. Besides learning so much, we also created several amazingly delicious dishes. We can’t wait to try them all at home with the cook book they sent us home with. Five stars, for sure!!

So fun and delicious!!! Max customized our dishes to our group and helped us create the most delicious pumpkin ravioli in saffron and sage sauce, gnocchi with fresh marinara and basil and amazing tiramisu.

The location was a bit confusing to get to but once there it was wonderful! The class had 8 people in a cozy setting. We shared stories of our travels over wine in between creating the courses. A couple had enjoyed their first experience so much they changed plans and signed up for this second class. If I had more time, I would too.

We were a group of four, which was the perfect size. Marco made the course fun and added some competition to get the best out of us. He was very knowledgeable, so don't miss out on his kitchen hacks and restaurant suggestions! We made truffle ravioli, gnochi, and tiramisu, and had great wine and coffee to accompany our meals. The kitchen was top notch - from the design to all devices, everything was clean too. We'd totally recommend this course and come again for the other courses.

Bets chef and class that I have ever taken!

This was a very fun class. We made 3 kinds of Gelato. The vanilla cherry was our favorite. The Suppli was really good and I had never heard of it before. The pizza was delicious also and we learned that less is more! Would definitely take the glass again. Oh, yes, the wine was great too.

I came across this class while looking for something to do in Rome. Very glad we decided to participate. Fresh ingredients picked up from the market were used to prepare our meal. Beautiful professional kitchen, and professionally led with step by step instructions as we went along. The end result was superb! We left with more knowledge and a recipe book to re-create our meals at home. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a wonderful experience! Thank you!

I booked the class as a surprise for my husband's birthday. He's Italian so this was right up his street! The whole class, from beginning to end, was so so professional, engaging and fun! I looked at loads of different cooking classes in Rome before booking, and this (even though it was on the more expensive side) looked the best. I wanted something that would be special, and this absolutely was. I would 100% recommend this class, and we will be booking this again for ourselves the next time we're back in Rome. Also, I'm very gluten and dairy intolerant, and found they were very accommodating and careful. I was a little worried about cross contamination, as there was so much gluten (EVERYWHERE!!!), but we managed, and I was able to enjoy my gluten/dairy free meal along with everyone else. Thank you so much to Alex and the team! We LOVED it!

This was one of my favorite experiences I made. We were at the new location at Piazza Mattei for the Pasta and Tiramisu class. The people were so nice, and also Marco and Sabbir were really funny! The location is beautiful, the food was delicious.

Workshop with Max! We were a group of six and had such a great time preparing delicious pasta and the best tiramisu I've ever had. Max was a fantastic host. Knowledgeable, fun, and super passionate about cooking.

A professional Chef guiding the class, but more importantly, the Kitchen is an architectural wonder. It’s slightly more expensive, but you will be wowed by the class. I didn’t want to leave! Unlimited wine, and great professional equipment - what more do you want! Would do it every time we came - the food alone is worth the money, never mind the Chefs time. Book it!!

The “Premium Pizza, Supplì & Gelato Cooking Class with Select Italian Wine & Private Chef” was more than just a cooking class—it was a delightful evening spent with people from around the world, sharing good wine and great conversation. Our private chef, Maximiliano (Max), guided us through the process of making traditional Roman Supplì, authentic pizza, and creamy gelato. Even though I had experience making sourdough pizza before, witnessing the art and techniques behind a true Roman pizza was absolutely mind-blowing. The combination of cooking, learning, and enjoying delicious food and wine made this class a highlight of my trip. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in Roman culinary traditions while making great memories, this experience is a must!

I loved learning to make pizza dough and pizza in this class. I surprised myself. Chef Jacob was an excellent instructor who provided clear instruction and modeled the techniques involved. My class was around 8 people, an international mix, and the class was conducted in English. The local wine provided lubricated the proceedings and made it all fun. Of course, the highlight was getting to make the pizza, suppli and gelato we made. Highly recommend.

The venue was perfect and the chef was really good and funny. The food we prepared was amazing, i would most certainly recommend this activity while in Rome!

Max was our chef and he was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our group was great and the food we made was delish. Wine was free flowing as promised. Would definitely recommend!

The cooking class was absolutely brilliant. Loved every minute of it. Easy to follow and so much fun. The food we created was delicious and I now have the confidence to make pizza and gelato again at home for the family. The facilities were amazing and the staff were so helpful, easy to work with, and a lot of fun. Totally recommend this class to everyone. Absolutely the best time we’ve had so far in Italy. 😊😊😊😊😊

We (me, my wife, and our two adult children) took this class in Rome with Jacob. We had a fantastic time making pizza, suppli (my favorite), and pizza (and wine :)). I believe there were nine total participants, and everyone appeared to have a great time preparing, talking, eating, drinking, etc. Jacob was very clear, friendly, and professional throughout the process. We had plenty of food leftover to take away with us. I highly recommend!!

We learnt a lot about making a great Pizza and making some awesome Gelato. We met some new friends, drank some nice wine and got to eat all the food we made. Thanks to Max the Chef, he made our day.

Marco was an amazing instructor. The ingredients were all very high quality and the class was small. The wine was flowing and everyone had a great time. I lived in Rome for two years and had my doubts about a class this close to the Colosseo but this was fantastic and I’d recommend it to anyone.

The setting is just gorgeous and the knowledge you get from watching and copying Jacob as he makes pizza, supplí and gelato is fantastic. Plus the wine is free flowing even at 11am!! I can’t wait to try out some of the things I’ve learned at home. Would definitely look forward to trying another class in a future trip to Rome.

It should be enough to say that after this experience, we booked another one the same day (for Pasta and Tiramisu) which went also great. Jacopo is an excellent teacher and we had a lot of fun whilst making gelato, pizza and suppli. We were greeted with a snack, wine and water and we didn't even need to ask for a refill that Jacopo was ready to make sure we didn't have an empty glass. We appreciated also the wines he chose. What I loved a lot about the experience was also how flexible Jacopo was and the many options he offered for the toppings, usually other places could be stricter and it gets less fun. I'll be looking to come back with my kids as well!

Quite possibly our favorite experience while in Rome. We decided to do this with our adult children as a fun activity for my oldest son's birthday. Food was DELICIOUS...but even more than that...Max and Marco made it so fun. Definitely do this!!!!

We are first time travelers to Rome and this was my favorite stop of the entire holiday! Marco was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience enjoyable. We left with lots of knowledge and very full tummies from amazing food.

He taught us not only how to make hand-made pasta but also tips to make the sauce and selection of the ingredients. I can't wait to come back to learn the different recipes.

A talented chef and amazing host, the class was the highlight of our trip. We learned how to make two types of pasta, tiramisu, and had great wine. For the amount of knowledge you take away and time spent there, it is well worth the price.

The kitchen was extremely clean and our chef’s assistant was working nonstop getting everything ready. The place was well organized and extremely efficient yet relaxed. Went with my 3 kids and they were so accommodating. I was about to be over Rome due to bad experiences with the city being a tourist trap until tonight’s impromptu class. We all learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Great value!
