Moroccan Cooking Class With Chef Khmisa

Khmisa and Kawtar, two Moroccan women, Chefs, food lovers, and passionate about cooking and involving people in Moroccan Culture from the local side. They will welcome you in Marrakech for a meal at Khmisa's workshop, a Riad in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech in the pure Moroccan cuisine tradition and a family and warm atmosphere. Specialized in Moroccan cuisine and pastry, has worked for several renowned hotel establishments in Morocco and abroad and for different Moroccan Restaurants and Catering services.

They will assist you during your cooking class and help you to understand more the Moroccan Culinary. First, we will discuss your food allergies and restrictions then we will go to the Food Local Market ( Souk), away from the touristic side of Marrakech.

A short walk through the souk to buy fresh groceries in the middle of the market stalls filled with spices and local traditions. Once arriving home, you will be welcomed with a traditional mint tea and you will learn all the steps of the ritual making before starting the cooking session. The menu will be composed of the most typical Moroccan dishes, including starters + main course + one dessert. We will start the preparation of the dishes as a team involving everyone in and understanding the secrets of the Moroccan cuisine and spices. It's a shared session and we do offer private sessions on-demand only. You can come individually or with a group. After the cooking, you will have time to taste the fruit of everything we made for a delicious meal.

• 10:45 am: Cooking class with Chef Khmisa and Chef Kawtar.
• 12:00 pm: Enjoy your cooking over lunch
• 1.00 pm : End of the experience 

Afternoon Session

• 2:00 pm: Meeting and introduction before starting our shopping the fresh products in the local market.
• 2:30 pm: Arrive at Khmisa's workshop, enjoy a welcome drink, and learn how to make Moroccan mint tea
• 2:45 pm: Cooking class with Chef Khmisa and Chef Kawtar.
• 4:00 pm: Enjoy your cooking over lunch.
• 5:00 pm: End of the cooking class.

Evening Session

• 5:30 PM: Meeting and introduction before starting to shop for fresh products in the local market.
• 6:00 PM: Arrive at Khmisa's workshop, enjoy a welcome drink, and learn how to make Moroccan mint tea.
• 6:15 PM: Cooking class with Chef Khmisa and Chef Kawtar.
• 7:30 PM: Enjoy your cooking over dinner.
• 8:30 PM: End of the experience.
